Happy "Andor" Saturday Strugglenation Crew! 😊 A great way to start off the weekend with the third episode of this particular arc of the last season. This whole arc has been amazing! Loved Mon Mothma's speech that she gave in the Senate. And as much as I love Jimmy Smitts, Benjamin Bratt has done a phenomenal stepping into the role of Bail Organa. Hope that we get to see him at least one more time before the end of the series. Looking forward to the last three episodes of this show. 😊

I would recommend you guys wait till you finish Rebels before re-watching Rogue One. Although I wouldn't say it's essential to take this advice, especially because you've already seen it, there are a lot of easter eggs, blink and you miss them walk ons, plus some more context about some people hanging around in the background of Rogue One. There's also more backstory of a few Rogue One characters in Rebels if you finish the 4 Seasons of Rebels first. Pretty much all of Rebels occurs chronologically before the start of Rogue One, and I think the last 2 Seasons were made during the production of, or right after Rogue One came out.

While what you say has merit. I think they should watch Rogue One right after finishing ANDOR. If they put it off their memories of the show will have already started to fade by the time they get to it. Instead I would recommend going ahead with R1 now but then holding off on rewatching the Original Trilogy until they've finished Rebels.

You know it's crazy to think that this is the culmination of 20 years Genevieve O'Reilly has spent with the character of Mon Mothma. She was hired way back in 2005 for Revenge of the Sith and then all her scenes were cut. Then they brought her back in 2016 for Rogue One and now here she is delivering the defining moment for her character and the very Rebellion itself. I highly recommend everyone look up "revenge of the sith delegation of 2000" on Youtube and watch the video on the channel Gregular to see her beginnings with the character.

Ideally, although I don’t think it’s required. Andor serves as an actual direct lead-in to Rogue One, whereas Rebels has nice connections and explains some canon storylines. Either way

I agree. Rebels rewatch would have been great if they'd gotten through it already, before this final Andor arc. But I think watching it immediately after next week's arc will be ideal. (I know I will be)

Repeating something I said on YouTube in case you don't see it - people are gonna mention Rebels a lot, but I would ignore it all because you're already watching it. Just keep watching and you'll get there on your own. And keep in mind each season of Rebels roughly corresponds to the years/arcs here in Andor S2, so things line up here and there. You can discover where on your own though. (I just renewed so I can get back to watching your Rebels reactions now and see you experience the Rebellion coming together at the same time as these events...)
