so I am confuse..when we want to have shows that have black people culture is wrong but we can see all of white culture and be 100% ok with that. I understand some of the black talk be too much but this is how certain black ppl actually act in some communities, whats wrong with showing that? I feel like we harp on this too much as a society when it comes to people of color. Black panther is great because its african right not black american.

It's not really about its existence in the show; It's about the heavy handed performative bs that Hollywood has been pumping out for quite awhile now. It gets to a point where it can become exhausting to have that be in our media all the time; And it sounds like that's where Joe is at rn. Black Panther is great because it's a good ass movie; And it's a great execution of having the black experience in your story without all the surface level pandering nonsense. Also you're completely wrong about it having zero back American culture in it; That was Killmonger's whole point of view. You can def tell when a company is just trying to check off boxes to fill a quota and when the media is authentic
