Hearing heras native tongue come through was such an authentic representation of the character. Makes you understand that strip away all her titles, her ship and crew she is a freedom fighter a rebel by blood not just by name

You did see Cham in Clone Wars. As he mentioned he was in Liberty on Ryloth where he fought alongside Mace Windu. Numa was also in Clone Wars in Innocents on Ryloth as the little refugee girl found by two clones Boil and Waxer.

Sabine is the Mandalorian. The green twilek is Hera Syndulla.

Happy "Star Wars Rebels" Saturday, Strugglenation Crew! 😊 This is another one of my favorite episodes of the season. We return to Ryloth, last visited in "Clone Wars". And we learn that that's Hera's homeworld. I really like how we get more family background on Hera in this episode while the Rebels are on their mission. Looking forward to the next episode reaction. 😊

To make it easier for M-DOG and Strugglesoidler to read this and find them, the episode with Cham and Mace crossing the energy bridge was 1x21, while the episode with then little girl blue Twilek Numa where she was rescued by clones Boil and Waxer was the one right before it, 1x20. What's also pretty cool is in the episode description how Cham's last name was already Syndulla.

Thank you so much ❤️ I did not know that.

You can also notice that Numa is wearing certain parts of Waxer and Boil’s armour. Specifically pauldrons and vambraces.

I wonder what Pablo Hidalgo would say about both Ryloth and Ghorman both having French sounding accents, but Ghorman being the only 1 of the 2 which has it's own language. Anyone know if Ryloth has it's own language? I don't think I've ever heard a language spoken in media by them. Just Huttese and Basic. It would be kind of crazy if at some point in the galaxy's history Twi'leks were the slaves of the people of Ghorman, maybe before they righted that evil on their planet and outlawed it, and they learned Basic from them, but learned it with that French sounding accent and that's why most Twi'leks sounds French. It would be interesting if it was complicated like that. Just my temporary headcannon until I hear officially about any relationship between the two peoples. Or it could just be their planets are near each other, like Greece and Italy.

Ryloth does has it's own language. I can't remember any other examples of it in media beside the one episode of clone wars with Numa and how she kept referring to Waxer and Boil as "nera" which means brother. There was also the moment they finally met up with the rest of the platoon and her and Obi-wan had a conversation in Twi'leki as well.

YodatheHobbit

Ah right! Forgot about "nera". Thanks!
