Justin Giles

GodKingSos

Rocinate

thank you for allowing me to join yall on this journey, its been awesome, and the best is yet to come!!

Rhys

Damn they really gonna be shocked by what’s to come

Forcewielder69 l

If you guys wanna know what happened to Darth Maul after this arc then read the "Son of Dathomir" comic. It's based on an arc they didn't get to animate.

Justin Giles

yes thank you! a hidden gem that no one brings up and it ties perfectly into Season 7

Justin Giles

i remember the first time i watched this and i was like oh shit Shiv Palpatine don’t fuck around and he’s gonna see about you every time lol

David

Bought it and read it recently. Very goood

David

Told u, this ac is something serious. You don’t want to see your favorite characters die but when they die and it has narrative and emotional weight, you know it’s done well. This arc had some of the best story and fights in the entire star wars brand. There’s another banger arc after this one too!!

Randee Carreno

Great reaction you two! 😊 This is easily one of my top 5 favorite "Clone Wars" episodes. And the Palpatine vs. Darth Maul lightsaber duel is one of my all-time favorites in all of "Star Wars".

Sebastrian Velarde

there is a voice over narration for the son of dathomir all 3 parts its on youtube you guys should react to it the voice over is very well done

Sebastrian Velarde

it would've been one of the best arcs in the clone wars in my opinion so its essential if you want to know what happened to mall

Sebastrian Velarde

just search up the lore master son of dathomir, love yall and the reactions keep it up

URMOTHER

The thing is palpatine wasn’t even trying, he was toying with them. Palpatine only mastered all forms of lightsabers to mock Jedi. He doesn’t even need it to kill someone lmao

nerowwolfe

I can finally say it I've been holding this so long FUCK BO KATAN I was heavy invested in obi wan relationship I'll say it Bo and her lust for glory cost Satine her life and all of mandalor u aren't worthy to be queen u aren't worthy to sit where she sat when I saw her in mandalorian I booed ur the reason Satine is dead

SilverSeraph000

THIS was actually supposed to be the future of Star Wars. After the Disney buyout, they completely ignored all of the setup the OG Lucasfilm had. It’s one of the greatest ‘what-ifs’ in fictional history!😭

Spencer Allen

the sequel trilogy yes, but don’t forget all the great stuff disney HAS given us

SilverSeraph000

In concept, yes, they've given us some great stuff, but so much of it was so poorly executed or rather poorly paced. Disney kept back-pedaling the straightforwardness and brutality of Star Wars. It's only recently where things have been a bit more serious, but even then they've been so inconsistent with quality too. Too much rot in Lucasfilm 2.0 unfortunately.

Culper

@SilverSeraph000 .... This is may be the worst take I have ever seen.

SilverSeraph000

I'm definitely not saying my lack of enjoyment comes from its lack of brutality. (Because there are some scenes Disney let happen.) Its the fact that so much of it isn't as well put together tonally and plot-wise like here in The Lawless. The first two seasons of the Filoni-verse were awesome, but then its direction clearly fell off the rails after that. I even like Rebels for the most part, but that was really only made because Clone Wars was cancelled at a point where there were too many unanswered questions. In short, all that had to be done was finish off the original plans for Clone Wars, maybe make a sequel animated series with the same animation, and work on a sequel trilogy of movies that was as faithful to George's outline as possible. Just three projects to finish and make. They couldn't even do ONE of those things with a professional work ethic! 😂

YodatheHobbit

SHE. DID. NOT. CAUSE. THAT. Maul did. At no point does she state or hint at wanting her sister dead. Removed from power, not dead. She has no power to read Maul's mind. She has no knowledge of his ultimate plan.

YodatheHobbit

LOL at calling Lucasfilm in the 2000s OG Lucasfilm. I'm pretty sure Lucasfilm re-hired more OG Lucasfilm employees after Disney purchased it. Phil Tippett, Lawrence Kasdan, Lorne Peterson, etc.

Greg Norman

And even moreso - the final fall of the Dathomir Nightsisters. If you want to see how Dathomir got the way it was in Rebels, Jedi: Fallen Order, and later shows I don't want to spoil - it's really valuable to read.

Ana Greer

Guys I have been WAITING for a long time for you to see this episode. Had I known these reactions were here on Patreon, I would've become a member sooner! And yes, the episodes and the saber fights only get better!

fishyfriedfood66

"What the fuck am I watching?" perfect reaction lmao
