A.I. LoRA of my work. HELP! (Patreon)

I am shaking...I write you at the brink of a panic attack... I don't know what to doAt the weekend I found A.I. loras that mimic my art, OCs and it really looks like my work/style.I brushed it off and met a friend who offered me comfort. He made an account on that website to dig into it and I was shocked to see images resembling my artwork... witnessing the 'quality' and quantety of images in my artstyle left me speachless...Got a panick attack and had to stay over night at his place. (I got better and I took a day off to calm myself...)Then today... a few moments ago... I proceeded to check the site again, to see what I can do about it...I found 3 models (maybe more with my influence in it?) on that site alone...8k uses of one of the loras. Didnt checked the others, but... endless scrolling of mimiced imagesI don't know what to do.I feel betrayedI feel powerlessI wanna burry myself Idk if I can go on like thisHave the feeling of slipping into depression.What's the point of it all? I dedicated 10 years of my life to my work and I can tell you due to my experiance as a self employed artist... It's no fun not being able to pay your bills properly and relay on friends and family to help you out, stuggeling all the time with tax authorities, bureaucracy, not being able to replace clothing that you have to wear, despite the fact that they are full of holes, or that just going out with friends and enjoy life is no option, because you can't afford it...I did all of this for the sake of doing art and making myself and others happy and building a gateway for my own and others sexual desires.Idk ... I wanna be an artist. I wanna have a boner each time I work. I wanna continue making people happy... but competing against my own style, being generated in no time, when I take days for a piece of artwork...It feels so utterly unfair.What was the point of sacrificing my time and life over the years?I am 37 now... and I wanna go on with my work and grow as a person and artist further more.But I am doubting my life decisions... Having others use my work like this and maybe even make a profit out of it... what can I do to stay sane under such pressure? A machine is replacing my artistic vision and existence just like that?I have the feeling I have to rely on you more then ever. If you know what I can do, let me know?If you wanna support me with a coin, please do.The friend of mine said I should make it an official lora so I can cash on it.It might help my finances, but will it help my soul? I'm sorry this has hit you so hard, but I understand. Its upsetting to have your work stolen like this. That's the real damage of gen A.I. stuff like this, it hurts the artists. Just, try and remember that what you make is the Real art. That you built and made your own style, and that it has real value. I wish I could pay the bills easily for you, that it wasn't so much of a struggle. But you've created art that we all truly enjoy, and get horny too. You are the one who made it worth something. Not the thieves who steal artists styles. You're the one who has value and creativity.

I was...dreading the day that this would happen but in this day and age its impossible to not encounter it and not have it happen, Ive seen this same thing happen to a lot of other artists and there are ways to combat it but you can't ever really truly stop it. Please don't let this stop you, Please don't let this change you. You are an amazing artist and an even more amazing person and please hold on to the fact that whatever AI slop they can make, can never compare to the unique feel that you yourself put into your art. So please keep going strong! Don't let this stop you from ever rising!

I am glad you see the value in my work. I just am afraid I can't compete and others making A.I. profitable with the help of my work. I saw that happen to Rokudenashi's work... and people spending money on A.I. generated images of his work... Dunno if fighting windmills is the solution... As you say yourself, A.I. is everywhere and I am not the only victim... I mean the old masters where probably the first 'datasets' they trained... how can a grand theft like this be legal... thank you for offering your support and help. I will try to rest a bit and work on your animation asap

If it helps I'd sooner give up all porn and masturbation before even considering following or jerking off to AI art. If I ever see any of it I'll definitely report it and try to stop it. Your art has so much more passion and thought put into it than anything any computer could barf up.

First, how is it different from people just stealing your art online and posting somewhere else? That was happening since the dawn of the Internet. Second, you can’t stop the AI advances. New models are so advanced, that they don’t even need Lora’s trained on someone’s art - they can replicate the art style or a character by seeing just ONE picture! Just like a good painter, artist. Third, instead of fighting this, try to incorporate it into your daily work to make it more efficient. I’m a software engineer and partially working on the AI stuff too. The least I expected from these models, is to be able to write good software code. But they can now. It caused a bit of panic around some engineers, but now we adapted and use it as a helper assistant to make our work more efficient. Do the same, don’t panic. The sooner you’ll incorporate it into your work, the more advantage you’ll have.

It's downright infuriating to see someone who has worked tirelessly and put so much effort and real skill and love into their passion having their livelihood threatened by AI. It's theft. AI is a machine made to steal something that people like you had to actually form and reform through human hands. There HAS to be more legislation brought to this matter, and I get the feeling the need for it is going to become stronger. Don't get too discouraged, there are plenty of us who refuse to support that content, and will gladly give a hand.

Ai will never be able to compete with your creativity. The most it can do is copy your style. It can't invent characters, scenarios, and all the sexy ideas you have. Anyone paying for the pale copy is being swindled, when they could pay you for something real. Which is what they should do.

I know that AI seems almost magical, but it really can't Create something. It can't make something new like you can. It can copy a pose and mimic style, but it doesn't invent new characters and stories for them. Even if they overcome the technical problems, which they can't do for everything, they can't make true art. Artists like you will always have a place because of that.

I struggeled a lot to get there with my skill level and seeing someone using my artwork that shows also a lot about who I am and what I like and turning it into massproduction was overwhelming. But you are right. I can't just pitty myself over this. Thank you for your clear words and for making me see it from a not so emotional perspective.

You say the ai almost matches your style completely but I have doubts that they can even get a consistent idea out on those sitting programs outside of some generic 3/4ths or basic sex pose. You got multiple styles under your pen you can switch through and fine tune on the fly. Ai just can't replicate the attention to detail or minute changes you can. And I mean, they can't even do animations or sprite work at all
