does the most classic artist thing possible by making still life art of fruit 😌

lately, I've been having a lot of fun jumping from art supply to art supply. while I wait for my bucket of paint water to evaporate from painting with acrylics, I've pivoted back to making art with oil pastels. i love using pastels, it's such a messy medium that encourages my inner gremlin to take over. my fingers always get so dirty from using the sticks and gleefully smearing the pastels across the paper. I've also found it beneficial to explore different mediums and creative outlets in general (I've been learning how to knit this month :D) so as not to get burnt out on any one thing. learning different tools often helps me make connections among seemingly disparate areas and inspires me to use supplies in new and creative ways. everything is interconnected!!! it's beautiful and amazing!!!
