i'ma just keep doin me <3 (Patreon)

more experiments with mixed media! yayyy yippee!!! been having a lot of fun working wet on wet with gouache so the colors bleed into one another and dry in these beautiful blooming shapes with both blurred and sharp edges. it adds so much life and motion to the page, soft gradients mimicking moving shadows in the breeze.

I watched the backrooms in theaters today and had to leave 45 minutes in because it got too scary for me!! nonetheless, I found the movie to be very thematically and stylistically substantial and enjoyed what I was able to stick around for. I'm often contemplating the fictitious nature of memory, behavioral and psychological cycles, how we do what we don't like despite knowing and wanting better...you know, life! if you are a fan of horror, I think you will like this movie. :]
