made these a month or so back and still really like how they turned out! I've continued to push my experimentation with materials (eg: different papers, supplies, layering techniques) and it's truly when I have the most fun with making art. I love the freedom of being messy and smooshing all sorts of art supplies together on the page. don't like how a line turned out? just paint over it. color I just put down looks weird? mix it with another color to change it up. the way I see it, I spent the majority of my life (what, 15 years?) making digital art, so it's gonna be another 15 years of making traditional art before I really feel like I've made a satisfying dent in playing around haha.
