big clay update! 📒✏️

per the feedback from my first clay post, I did end up going the magnet route and honestly? the swag is undeniable. I love slapping these chunky things around on my fridge. art that is both aesthetically pleasing AND practical = my personal Achilles heel. I topped the magnets with a layer of sculpey glaze and it has the double benefit of a pretty finished shine and no more sticky fingers from the acrylic paint.

I recently invited some friends over for a clay day and we made a bunch of clay bits n bobs together. I opted to make more magnets, because I'm, well, addicted. I wasn't joking when I said everyone I knew was getting a fish magnet for Christmas this year lol. all our creations are baked and ready to be painted and finished! here are the ones I made:
