watch the extended cut on Nebula

Yes, you're reading this right. This really is another video coming out four days after the last one. Tbf we were already kind of working on these simultaneously (we shot this last Wednesday) but still, a way tighter turnaround than usual. Hey, sometimes you've got a hard deadline and you find a way to make it work.

As usual, my rules for the "best movies of the past year" video is that as long as it's released before the Oscars air, then it counts, since we're all still discussing and catching up on movies from the past year. I didn't get to EVERYTHING I wanted to see, but I watched a lot, and we wanted to adjust the format for this one to spotlight as much as possible. So we made an awards show. It gets very silly.

As for the awards themselves (you'll see them in the video), please let me know what to do with them. I have a bunch of these things sitting around and, I dunno, I think they're kinda cool.

And right after the Oscars announces that it will include a Naatu Naatu dance number. Now Patrick HAS to watch the Academy's show.

The absolutely chipper way Emma delivers that "concentric circles of hell" line. Perfection, no notes, keep her around.

Maybe geocache those awards

I really wanted to hear Emma's awards too. Maybe a Nebula plus?

I really thought "Cha Cha Real Smooth" would have won the "Alien Whale who cuts a Guy's Arm Off" award, but alas...

Aaron Nemoyten

Can someone post the list of movies Patrick didn’t watch? I kinda missed it and I’m also really wondering why EEAO wasn’t nominated for more awards. And why the awards weren’t called The Willemses.

Since the Golden Globes preced the Oscars will the Vitos be falliewd by the Golden Coconuts?

You know we did all make fun of that Harry Styles “movie that feels like a movie” quote at the time but I too would be lying if it hasn’t actually been useful! This video was a lot of fun and hi Emma, thank you for comment reading, you’re doing a great job!
