SCSKiller 1.2.0 is out. If you have it installed, it updates itself: you'll see "Restart to update", or it installs the next time you start or quit the app.

What's new

- ELDEN RING compiles for real now. Before, every pipeline SCSKiller compiled for it came out in a slightly different form than the game's own, so the driver treated them as different pipelines and the game compiled everything again. Now 95% of what the game creates is ready before you play (it was 0%).

- Record ELDEN RING and ARMORED CORE VI offline, without EasyAntiCheat. Opt-in and at your own risk: SCSKiller starts the game offline without EAC so it can record what the plan missed, and removes all its files the moment the game exits. Online play isn't possible in that session. Those recordings go into the community database, so everyone's compile gets better.

- Add any game by hand. A game from another launcher or a folder of its own: "Add a game…" in the Library, pick its .exe. It compiles, records and shows its frame times like any other.

- Unreal Engine 5 ray tracing without a recording. SILENT HILL: Townfall and other games using hardware Lumen no longer ask for one, and Unreal 5.0 to 5.4 games compile their ray-tracing shaders on NVIDIA from the game files.

- Better DirectX 12 detection. Deep Rock Galactic (DX12 from Steam's launch menu) and Ghostrunner (DX12 for ray tracing) were seen as DirectX 11 only.

- Xbox app games in a custom folder are found. Games installed somewhere other than <drive>:\XboxGames, such as D:\Games\XboxGames, didn't show up.

- The Compile button on a game's page compiles right away. It used to only add the game to the queue.

Safer

- More anti-cheats are recognised (NCGuard, Tencent ACE, HoYoverse, NetEase and others), also in the folders above a game you add by hand. The recorder never goes near them.

- Games with a RenoDX HDR mod that changes every pipeline are left out with an explanation, instead of compiling something that can't match.

- Fixed: a compile could pause or close an unrelated program, because Windows reuses process IDs.

For supporters: thanks to everyone sharing recordings, the community database keeps growing. Sharing stays opt-in and anonymous: only shader hashes, never game files or anything personal.
