Change in Patreon Payments (Patreon)

Hey everyone! I don't know who has, or hasn't, seen the news about Patreon changing their payment plans because of Apple. Apple is essentially making it so that any subscriptions through the Patreon app in the App Store is going to start charging people more for their in app purchases (which again, also includes monthly subscriptions). I know this will effect any new patrons that subscribe through the app, but I have no idea if it will effect current members that are subbed through the app.

I would recommend that you have your Patreon subscriptions signed up through an online browser like on your desktop or mobile computer, rather than going through the Apple iOS app in order to avoid these extra charges.

These changes are set to take place in November of this year!

I'm still learning about these changes along with you all. I will make another announcement if there is anything major that needs to be shared later on.
