Hi, DBB! I have PC only. So I'm testing Mac builds using VMWare Player. Everything works fine (both running the .exe and running the .sh file). For many people, the program also works fine. However, I know, there are guys who have some ploblems with BM on their Mac's. I'm sorry, but I can't reproduce such errors on my virtual machine. I am grateful to everyone who finds ways to overcome such errors and shares the info. All the ways (2) that were able to collect are here: http://skazgames.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=254 About the module 'site'. I build the distibutive using Renpy 6.99.10. There is no file 'site.pyo' for the Mac for RenPy 6.99.10. The build works fine (at least for my VM) both running the .exe and running the .sh file. No additional files or settings are required. But newer Renpy versions (f.e. current Renpy 7.3.5) have 'site.pyo' for Mac! * Do you use Renpy launcher to start the game? It will not work (Renpy use own libraries)! Try to run the .exe or run the .sh file instead of this. * If you don't use Renpy launcher, I hope my info about 'site.pyo' helps you to open up the game.

cd BM_098 xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine . chmod -R 755 . bash BadManners.sh The BadManners.app is incorrectly created and does not contain the full game, so trying to run it does nothing. Other ren'py distros do the MacOS version separately and the entire game is packaged within the .app file.

Hi, once I get to chapter 11, as soon as I click on the castle basement door, the game crashes and gives me the following error messages [code] I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred. Hi, HeyItsDale! Please, send me the save file when you are in the library before you click on the castle basement door (skazgames @ yandex . ru). I'll see what I can do. -- Also, how do I clear the system level save files? Do you want to delete all save files? There are 2 places for the save files of the game: * [folder where BadMannes.exe placed]\game\saves * C:\Users\[Your UserName]\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\BadManners-1431362765\

Sorry for the delay. Yes, that one has everything in the package needed to run. However it still needs some adjustments. xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine BadManners.app chmod 755 BadManners.app/Contents/Resources/autorun/BadManners.sh chmod 755 BadManners.app/Contents/Resources/autorun/lib/darwin-x86_64/BadManners I don't think you can do anything about the xattr requirement without actually building an installer that uses a .dmg file so that the quarantine can be removed when it goes through the normal install process. In theory you can fix the packager to set the x permission on the two files so that it runs.

Hi, spiritmaster! Thank you for your clarification. I intend to make two separate versions for now: a) Win / Linux and b) Mac. If the separate version will not make it easy enough for Mac users to install the game, I'll take the next steps to simplifier the process.
