August IOS Reminder! (Patreon)

It’s the new month, which means it’s time for the monthly reminder that if you are able, it’s in your best interest to avoid subscribing through the iOS app so you aren’t getting charged 30% more per month!

If you’re planning to keep your subscription for August, please consider pledging directly through the desktop or mobile site instead! I know certain mobile browsers will redirect you back to the app no matter what, I’m sorry for any inconvenience the app and its fees might cause. 😭

Apple adds a 30% fee to your pledge that they take for themselves - despite many creators (like myself) highly despising the broken ass app lmao - AND they withhold that money for 75 days from creators, which makes it impossible for us withdraw or refund those pledges during that time.

🚨🚨Patreon has also changed the entire payout system AGAIN (this actually happened at the start of July, I don’t remember if I made a post about it back then) but if you’re trying to stick around for your weekly comic reading, please be sure to double check your payment methods because they’ve been cancelling/declining memberships due to payment processing issues at a more frequent rate since this new system rolled out. Not just for my page, but check all creators you want to stay pledged to in order to make sure you didn’t get kicked!

Thank you all so much for the continued love and support, I know these posts are tedious and annoying but I’m working against the current here and Im grateful for everyone who chooses to stick around in spite of the annoying membership issues. That is unfortunately outside of my jurisdiction, all I can do is be consistent with my updates and talk to yall when things get weird on patreons end. 💖
