Lmao TLDR answer: Fia has a strong liking of humans in general, but Wiley had saved her and also didn’t take advantage of her by taking her coat. Additionally one of the reasons why Wiley kept himself single for years is because he lives in a smaller town, he always felt that moving onto someone he’s known his whole life was wrong, and it just never felt like the right time because he trapped himself into a routine of loneliness. A change of his mundane world kind of catapulted him into understanding and accepting his need to move forward.
