I know it’s the tail end of summer for most people so getting super invested in this story seems poorly timed but summer is year round where I live AND Mags and I have been goofing with Sam and Shelley the entirety of the summer and then some, I don’t always share what we’re playing with behind the scenes, but it IS fun when I get to hehe

Sam might be the short(er) guy in the group, but he is broad and Shelley knows what she’s about. BTW - Sam lore drop - socially weird dude who gets away with not being able to read the room only because he’s nice to look at, but also because he’s not RUDE about his weirdness, just well meaning and making different connections from most people. 100% has adhd that’s more hyperactive/impulsive and less like Dagger’s combination (if there’s one thing I’m gonna do, it IS make a beautiful man who struggles like me lmaooo) Is the youngest of all his siblings, who were all grown and out of the house when he was born (NOT PLANNED LMAO) so he essentially grew up like an only child who’s also literally the last child of a big family so he had different socialization and also his parents kinda just let him do whatever growing up. (BAD ASS kid, he wore them out - but he grew up to be sweet haha) Family owns and runs a MMA studio/gym in town, so Sam knows how to fight but is NOT an aggressive person at all. Also see: Sam getting bored and randomly trying to wrestle Morgan while they’re waiting on something - Morgan just accepts this, even though with their inhuman mermaid strength, both of the siblings could toss Sam across the pool if they wanted to

Also fun fact: Shelley and Morgan can understand the crab. He’s cussing Sam out- (Shelley also knew Sam was sneaking around the aquarium to work up the courage to talk to her before he actually did because THE FISH TOLD ON HIM-)

(Not that the world DESERVES the Morgan that Layla get’s to see LMAO but he’s a lifeguard too!! This whole group is hot, that man wears big clothes for a reason)
