my hand got bit 5 times while finishing the last panel AND csp froze and didn’t auto save so! Augh! But it’s here! And I know all chapter ends are bittersweet, but as with every new part of the story, I am SO excited for Chapter Four! I hope you all enjoy it as much as you enjoyed this one! Not to be too critical but I find it disturbing looking through your content there is no bodily variety whatsoever. All of your AFAB characters have double Ds, are skinny, and have fat asses. Don’t get me wrong, the art is BEAUTIFUL. I just feel like you’re kinda sleeping on smaller sized boobs and other body types like pear shaped, plus sized, etc. not to mention the fact of the AFAB characters mostly being almost completely hairless… like I highly doubt every time Diego fucks Dakota that she’s ALWAYS shaved perfectly. Spick and span, no “imperfections”. Idk just some things I’ve noticed and wanna see more like, realism???

Hi Alexys. I feel like maybe you haven’t been here very long, as Chris was doing a lot of body variety as well as other details on bodies such as stretch marks, freckles and scarring much earlier with Lucky and through multiple commissions as well as originally in their rogue tier works before HD. It just so happens that the M/F conventionally attractive comic pair is the one that took off when it came to patronage and support. All bodies are awesome and deserve recognition, but if you look at Chris’ previous works there’s a lot more variation. It’s also not a truly fair shake to say that there is no variation because Chris had cameo adopts within HD in the first chapter that checked off a lot of your boxes. I get wanting more variety, but what you are saying is not accurate to Chris’ works as a whole. Also if you want to see a larger level of variety you would probably really love Lucky and Chris’ other earlier projects! Everyone can improve on variety and inclusiveness, but some people also already do that. If you want to see more of this variety checking out Chris’ other comics and also scroll through their commission tags on Patreon. I think you will be pleasantly surprised!

Oh no I have! I LOVE the Lucky comic!! I guess I just wish I could see more of that currently. And the little chubby werewolf they posted in February of last year, SO cute!! Again, it’s just something I’ve noticed just doesn’t really show up in the Dagkota/Luciana and Ezra comics. Again I’ve seen the Red/Art/Sleek stuff too, kinda the same there. I might just have to commission them!! Thank you for responding! I’m glad to know that this is getting some clarification!

I understand the desire to see more variation but Lucky was also Chris’ main project for SEVEN YEARS which gave them more time to have variation. It also wasn’t the comic that really took off, which isn’t Chris’ fault that’s just luck of the draw. HD is oriented around Dagger and Dakota’s perspectives so there hasn’t been as many side characters to show a lot of variation just yet. Also slamming Dakota and Luciana for looking that way isn’t a fair shake to Chris, because those two are MY characters and they weren’t designed with the intention to be diverse, they were made as D&D characters originally with the intention of being conventionally pretty but with disturbing pasts or traits about them. The fact that those two took off in-comic wasn’t their original purpose.

I love the art, they’re so beautiful. I noted the boob size. All the girlies or AFAB people have huge chests. Makes a girlie a little insecure which isn’t Caez’ responsibility but still I’ve noticed this too. Would love to see more noodle bodies. It’s their art and I want them to enjoy what they do. A valid critique in my eyes.

Yes it is not an artist’s responsibility to deal with if you feel insecure. And as someone with a very small chest I get it, but Chris has definitely done a lot of work that does have this variation you are all asking for, so the suggestion that they don’t is incorrect. But also I’d like to point out the characters that are being critiqued the hardest are the AFAB characters, which most aren’t Chris’ characters. They’re mostly owned by myself and the two trans women in our D&D group. I’d also point out that the comics that are currently in circulation on their Patreon were voted on by patrons. This is what the majority wants to see. Chris has put up MANY options for more varied character comics as polls and they did not win the polls. So putting all onus on Chris is misplaced.
