Frequently Asked Questions

What are these for and how do I use them?

Please check out our guide for a rundown: A Beginner's Guide to Dungeondraft Custom Assets

Do I need to download both the Bronze and Silver Packs as a Silver+ patron?

No; the Silver Pack ZIPs also contain everything inside the Bronze Pack ZIPs.

E.g. The Silver Pack download will include both the Bronze-tier `2MT Fallen Tree Map Assets.dungeondraft_pack` and the Silver-tier `2MT Fallen Tree Map Assets Pack.dungeondraft_pack`

Do I need to import both the Bronze and Silver files into Dungeondraft?

Yes; in order to be more modular, our Silver .dungeondraft_pack files do not contain the assets of their Bronze counterpart, so please download and import both in order to complete your collection!

In summary, if you are a Silver+ patron, download the Silver Packs and import everything contained inside (that you would like to use) into Dungeondraft.

E.g. you will want to import both the Bronze-tier `2MT Fallen Tree Map Assets.dungeondraft_pack` and the Silver-tier `2MT Fallen Tree Map Assets Pack.dungeondraft_pack`

Does every map have a plus and regular version? For instance, I see Shattered Rift and Victorian Ballroom in my Dungeondraft Assets, but not a regular version. I might have also missed one, I try to import the new packs whenever they go up.

No, there will only be Bronze packs for asset packs, but Silver packs include assets extracted from map packs. In other words, asset packs will have Bronze and Silver packs and map packs will only have Silver packs. :)

Michael Hughes

Ah ok, so I should still grab both then to have everything?

Will the Gold packs also be included here eventually? The search function I have such a hard time with on Patreon.

I hope to one day organize everything into a more manageable format one day, yeah 😅

Do these usually include most of the assets you used to make the maps?

2minutetabletop

Most of our maps are hand-drawn from scratch, but we do make use of our assets a lot too!

Dan Sinclair

I have a quick question. I have a lot of 2MT Dungeondraft assets now, from the Everything Pack and Patreon rewards. When making up maps, I need to decide which assets to load into Dungeondraft, and here I really struggle because I don't know what is in the packs. Packs could contain objects, terrain, paths etc. Is there somewhere a curated *visual* archive of all of the things in the multiple Dungeondraft packs (preferably separated into the different 'categories' of assets)? Ideally this might be something that I could print out and make into a booklet that I could thumb through looking for specific assets or sets of assets before I start making a map?

That's something I'm working on Dan, but I love the printout idea! We want to 1) update our individual packs with proper previews and 2) create useful bundles centered around themes and/or tools – an all-textures pack, for instance, or a pack full of forest-related objects. Thank you for your patience in the meantime! It's become quuiite the collection after all these years.
