It's September already, can you believe it? Well, I am satisfied with what I accomplished in August, and very excited for the opportunities that have materialized.

Though I had some plans going into last month that I never got to, I am not at all unhappy with the token-centric direction the it took, and our collaboration with Forgotten Adventures was icing on the cake.

In September I'll be aiming for a 50/50 map/token split, so I can get the ball rolling on the Token Editor while still providing for you map-thusiasts out there. I'm tentatively planning a building map with 3D papercraft exterior, and that much anticipated cave/underdark asset pack. As for tokens, I feel like I should make a more comprehensive hero collection, and get cracking on the Monster Manual.

Please let me know what maps and tokens you would like to see in the comments!

Finally, your $1 coupon for this month is marshmallowmacaroni which you can use to claim any of our $1 maps. It's valid until we replace it around this time next month. Have fun!

We had a huge influx of Patrons in August, so a special welcome to all of you! And, of course, a huge thank you to everyone for your support this month. I'm living my dream thanks to you.

Interesting code choice lol. Keep up the great work!

Urgh, more tokens... The maps are still absolutely, phenomenally worth it, even if I have to pay for the tokens as well, but I can't say I'm 100 % happy about this.

I appreciate your feedback. I recommend utilising the monthly maximum option to limit your pledge to 2 per month, as I don't want you to pay for things you don't want either. ♡

I echo the sentiment above too. While I like the design of your tokens I think they are less universally usable compared to your maps - specifically your tile sets and common buildings such as taverns. I'd guess that most people use maps of some sort, but only small subset of people use tokens in the same style (birds eye view) that you are making them. Most tables I have been at use either portraits or full body images. I could be wrong though, and not every piece of content needs to be for everyone. Keep up the great work!

Very true Scotty! On the plus side, the more work goes into the token editor the closer I get to branching off into a map editor, to make those clumsy dungeon tiles usable, for example. After I get a decent library of tokens built this month I plan to do a split of 1 token / 3 maps per month. :)

That sounds awesome!

I have to agree with the comments above. I would like to see more maps than tokens.

Not to cause an argument over what content you provide, but I personally enjoyed the surprise tokens addition that you gave us. I was 100% not expecting it and I had just been commenting to a friend that I would like some tokens that seemed to fit more with the art styles of the 2 minute maps as the ones on roll20 stick out quite garishly. I do love your maps and look forward to what you come up with next but I hope that if you are passionate about the tokens that you follow that as well!

Any chance of a museum or exhibit-themed map? Would love to see your take on those! :)

Map editor would indeed be very awesome.

Please more monster tokens! I will take anything! I would love a troll though! Thank you!
