10 Encounters at Sea is a little something extra I wanted to share with you all: a 1d10 encounter list by my good brother Troy, accompanied by a bunch of free battle maps.

Troy and I are a little like Brokk and Sindri, I'm better at art and he more skilled in writing. This is our effort to make something together that many people can enjoy.

It's written with Ghosts of Saltmarsh in mind, but it's suitable for any sailing voyage. Please, check it out and leave a friendly comment!

"Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute." - Truly, one of the best encounter ideas!

Strahinja Todorovic

👏👏👏 for that internal linking (and, of course, the general idea for the post)

Perfect for my party. Tomorrow theyre embarking on a small voyage to a sea hag covens hideout.

Kimberley de Jong

This is really cool, thanks so much for sharing these great ideas <3

Marianne Rogers

Perfect for my Candle Cover based adventure I'll be writing up soon....

Thats a sweet little extra, sometimes when I want to make a journey fun, I'll ask each party member to write down something they want to encounter on the seas, and we'll draw three. It's optional,, but I have 3 encounters in the hat, so if they go for it, it might reduce the bad bits. This will be an excellent addition to that list :)

This is a really neat bonus to the maps! Very well done!

Devin Brown

What a wonderful bonus feature! There are a few in particular that pique my imagination. Thanks for making this for us.

Truly... But seriously - this may have kickstarted my new campaign...

2minutetabletop

Very cool idea. I love getting players to input things besides their personal player character.

I'm glad it's been so popular! Troy is always bursting with ideas, so expect more like it.

The lighthouse and the moving stars thing, both kinda contributed to the way I decided to start a campaign I've been planning for while now.

Taylor Young

Thanks! I hope they dont die xD
