16mm Cartoon Scan (1975) (Patreon)

This is an independent animated short that was made in 1975 by Sally Cruikshank. Her work has a very idiosyncratic style (i.e, you know her work when you see it).

This is her most famous piece. I obtained this 16mm about 3 years ago. It had turned red and was somewhat faded. I only started playing with the color last week and the results are decent. More work is needed of course, and it needs to be cleaned, which won't be hard because it's all shot on 2s.

Sally maintains an Etsy at where you can purchase cels from her cartoons and a DVD compilation of her work.
