For anyone who has supported this Kickstarter project, this is the same updated posted their earlier.
Above is a compilation of the 11 films that we have restored. There's are a few final touches to do to some of these, but this is what the final versions will essentially look like.
The 35mm restored films are as follows :
Harps & Halos (????), Domestic Difficulties (1916), The Honest Jockey (1920), Bombs and Bums (1926), Dog Gone (1926), Globetrotters (1926), Roman Scandal (1926), Set Em' Up Again (1926), A Stretch in Time (1926), Ups and Downs (1926), & Westward Whoa (1926).
All the soundtracks (as demoed above) are sourced from 78rpm recordings that have been cleaned up, so the music will be authentic to the era in which the films were produced.
To round out the set, we will include an "archival" playlist of films, that due to damage from time, could not be restored, but are some of the best elements we could find:
1916: Cramps, Laughing gas
1917: Circus
1920: Fishing
1926: Playing with Fire & Lots of Water
A few weeks ago, we had our first meeting with the Blu-ray disc manufacturer. We're working on the final details in terms of all that needs to be handed over so discs can start to be replicated. There's no firm date yet, but I'll update with that as soon as everything is finalized. 500 units will be produced. 240 units will be sent to the backs, leaving 260 surplus units, which can be purchased separately for anyone interested.
Two of the 1930s Colorized films (16mm) Westward Whoa and Slick Sleuths will be included:
