35mm Mechanical Monster Restoration (Patreon)

This was a project that I started back in March 2022 (announcement post: click here), and made a couple update posts (1 and 2). However, I took a hiatus from doing work around the end of 2022 for personal reasons, and I did not resume in earnest of working on animation again until about April/May 2023.

I'm relieved to announce that last month (after many frustrating weeks), I finally finished cleaning the film, and I did a preliminary color grade, and Jack Theakston will complete the full final grade on it. 

The cartoon will debut at the Fleischer event at the New York Museum of Modern Art (March 7-12) along with other restorations completed by Thad K., among others (Information here).
