Catching Smoke 🎵 (Good song, but the music video is nightmare fuel) 😬

Hey folks!

Welcome to this month's Spent Rounds. I've got some important news, so please be sure to read thru.

Firstly, Patreon has enabled the Recommendations feature. Now, you'll be able to see creators recommending their favorite creators to patrons. I'll be filling mine up with the ones I support along with my personal praise for their works.

Secondly, here's a reminder to please bookmark my website in case anything happens to my Patreon. I don't anticipate this, but you never know. It functions as my backup.

Please read this post to know more about how my website works.

Thirdly, my day job is taking me out of town for a few days. This shouldn't affect the Batgirl chapter release for 30 September. The chapter might be slightly smaller than I planned, but this won't matter. Let me explain:

The Catwoman story arc is a multi-stage sex scene between Bruce and Barbara and Selina. I'll probably finish the "on their knees scene" and start on the "bed scene" this month. But I'll need more time to have them finish all their fun in another update. As I mentioned in my previous post - 3sums take a lot of work, and I anticipated that it wouldn't all be done in one go.

The Batgirl comic will be one of my biggest projects. Even after the 3sum, there is still the Joker arc to do - where Barbara is captured by Joker and Harley.

Finally, I haven't decided what I want to do for October. I'd like to turn The Last of Us idea into a short comic, as it's very compelling and it'd be relatively easy to do. I'm also eager to get back to King's Quest. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.

Well, that's it for now! I hope you guys are having a great end-of-summer. Sorry if I go silent till towards the Batgirl release, but I'll be out-of-town for work. At least there's some sweet treats coming at the end of the month! 😉

Cheers, folks! Thanks again for all your support!

I'd love to see your last of us comic come to fruition.

dashole

Yeah, I'm leaning pretty heavily to it for October. 😏

Tulrek

Yeah let us discovered your very dark David ! !

The captured and fallen Batgirl should definitely be the highlight of your Batgirl comic. The preview picture is truly intriguing! If we could get a little glimpse of this around Christmas, it would be an amazing gift for your loyal readers and fans. Thanks so much, Dashole!

Thanks, man. I'll see what I can do. I don't usually project or use roadmaps as I only work on content that piques my interest month-to-month. This way people get my best effort all the time, and I don't get bored of what I'm working on. We'll get to the Joker arc at some point. But I can't say if it'll be before Xmas. 😅

No worries! Thank you so much!

" in case anything happens to my Patreon." That's why I don't like any "social network". They go bancrupt, they get hacked, they don't like what you say and you loose all of your contacts with no backup. How good would it be if each one of us gave you our email-address and you could just continue writing us in case of an "emergency". Remember the time each one of us had a phone-book-entry? Those were the time you could just call ... and because it was quite expensive, you had not to worry much about abuse. But "by the way": Nice art :) .

dashole

I do have all your emails. Patreon provides them to creators when you sign up. 😅

Dennis

You are joking, aren't you?

Dennis

Oh my. Should have red it more carefully. I do get a lot of spam lately - maybe that is why. Just selling some addresses does not hurt a creator, especially if things are not runnig well. I am thinking about dropping my account here and rejoin with anonther one. But it would hurt my "relation" with the creators as I would not get any notification for new updates. This aside, I wonder why they are even doing this. They do loose some power ower the creator-customer-relationship. If they kick you out, you can still reach out to your customers. Why would they want to let this happen? But thanks for opening my eyes!

dashole

Yeah, not sure exactly why. But I'm glad they do as it gives me the ability to reach out to my patrons if I ever get kicked off or move out. I doubt any creators are selling your email address. That just naturally happens from using our email when we sign up for corporate services, like giving it to McDonald's for their app.
