Dark Matter (Patreon)

Hey folks!

Here is a preview of the Baldur's Gate 2 short comic I'm gonna pump out this month. Might actually take two months to get through it, but we'll see. Lots of ideas for some really steamy storytelling! 😋

Been playing a lot of BG2 lately. I originally wanted to do something with Jaheira, like in this post. But goddamn - Viconia's Romance Quest is fucking amazing! Why are dark elves always the coolest, baddest, and most fleshed out race in any fantasy? Loved the Dunmer in Morrowind, and I'm loving the Drow in Baldur's Gate!

And Viconia is an absolute femme fatale, the epitome of a drow woman - sensuous, deadly, and very skilled in the carnal arts! 😏

One of the coolest elements of the BG games is how the companions can really play off one another in your party. If you take companions who are not compatible, they can actually get on each other's nerves and then try to kill one another.

I imagine something like this would play out between Viconia DeVir and Korgan Bloodaxe. They're both evil but have slightly different alignments.

And unlike Viconia, who is a morally complex character (you can fix her, bro), Korgan is an absolute bastard. I can imagine Viconia deciding that he's a liability to the Bhaalspawn's mission and try to eliminate him.

And Korgan being a bloodthirsty monster, I see Viconia using her honed seductive powers to her advantage in an assassination. 😉

So, this is what I'm working on right now. Doing a ton of research to make sure a few of the facts are congruous as I haven't finished BG2 and haven't even tried BG3. I heard Viconia got done dirty in BG3 as she's now canonically evil. Her romance and reformation is probably the best BG2 ending the player could have, at least in my eyes. 😌

I really wish Larian had left the Bhaalspawn Saga fanservice out of BG3. But I'll have to see once I get to it.

Anyways, will get back to work on this. Hope you guys are excited about this story as I am to craft it! Cheers, folks!
