Hey folks!

Welcome to this month's edition of Spent Rounds!  Just reposting one of my older sets that was inspired by the MJ music video.  Even by today's standards, the stop motion is amazing!

First thing's first - the next Batgirl chapter will drop January 15.  It should be about 100 new comic pages, if not more!  This has been a very challenging segment to render, with lots of posing, lighting, and set-building to get right.

It's been so challenging in fact, that I've been thinking about what kind of comics I want to do after Batgirl.  Batgirl will roughly be the same volume as Power Girl, taking numerous months and hundreds of pages to complete.  While the final product looks incredible, it does take a ton of effort.  And it is quite tiring.

I'm looking to maybe transition to a couple of smaller projects after I conclude Batgirl.  Maybe something a bit more lighthearted and way more perverted that'll keep me revved up.  Kinda like King's Quest or All That Glitters.

I'm finding that maybe, like KQIV, I'd expand on existing bad endings in games/movies/comics.  That way, there's almost no world-building involved - I can just link to the original material and take it from there.

Anyways, I should be getting back to it.  Let me know if you've any thoughts on what kind of projects you'd like to see.

if you were to do a fallout comic, would it be smaller than power girl/batgirl? I remember you saying that you'd like to do one eventually.

Fallout is on my list, but the size would be similar to PG and BG. There's considerable narrative elements and factions that need beefing up for the bad ending to have impact. The original Fallout 4 didn't have an ending where the female PC got enslaved by tribals, so that'll have to be built. 😅

is that going to be the norm going forward? bigger sets? I do like the buildup. As for your current projects... I'll be honest and state the mindbreak isn't really my thing. I'm more into corruption rather than outright mindbreak (which is the vibe I get from the batgirl set). The GGGB and Jasmine set had corruption and it definitely doesn't hurt that impregnation is a kink I enjoy. The Indy set also featured this in the form of desperation to survive. As for the other upcoming sets, I look forward to the King's Quest for the same reason I enjoyed your other sets. That last image with the lipstick? Perfection. As for All that Glitters...not really my cup of tea. not really the subject matter, oddly enough, but the reasoning behind why the transformation happens just seemed out there for me. On an unrelated note, I meant to say something earlier but put it off since I was a bit late... I'm sorry to hear that your mother is suffering. I hope her condition stabilizes and she gains some relief... I'm bad at expressing well wishes which is unfortunate because I'll be entering the medical field soon, but hopefully the sentiment gets through.

Thanks for your kind words regarding my mom. Yeah, it's definitely taking a toll as dementia demands the most daily maintenance for a caregiver. I'm looking into getting her into a memory-care facility next year as I can't keep looking after her forever. As for going forward, I mentioned in the post that I'm looking to take on lighter stories similar to KQ, where most of the work will just go into the hot scenes. I'll probably swing back into bigger projects once I've had my fun with lighthearted projects. ATG will be expanded upon when I get there, but to me it's actually a really ingenious mode of corporate espionage. From watching cyberpunk-themed tales, body swapping is actually a really effective tool to get an insider to do the work for you vice hiring someone who's not familiar with a certain corporation. And what I really am looking forward to is focusing on a unsympathetic MC who's a total whiny loser who gets his just desserts. 😆 As for Batgirl, yeah this one'll be a mindbreak, but it's not my usual thing. But it does let me explore other themes, and I don't want to be a one-trick pony. Having a variety of different kinks in my collection appeals to a broader audience, and it gives me a creative range I would otherwise not get to exercise. Hi Dashole, It would be fantastic if you were to continue your Alice story at some point. Perhaps looking at her origins and how Alice became the stellar assassin. As always, I really appreciate your posts on what gets the creative thought processes going.
