Life update! (Patreon)

Not sure if anyone cares about these but this also doubles as an explanation for why I’ve been gone for a while! My boyfriend Aaron and I have lived together for three years, and our final roommate just moved out! My friend Evan moved in with us at the beginning of the pandemic, and just recently found a place with his girlfriend, so Aaron and I have the apartment all to ourselves! This has come with a pretty drastic increase in rent as our landlord raised it at the same time Evan moved out, but we’re just so happy to finally have our own space that we will just manage eating plain noodles for the rest of our lives if we have to. Anyway, we helped Evan and his girlfriend move all of their stuff out of their two apartments into one new one, and immediately jumped to rearranging our new third room. This meant that Evan’s bedroom is being turned into Aaron’s office/guest room, so I now have a WHOLE room to myself for my workspace. We got me a tall table so I don’t have to cut fabric on the floor anymore! I’ve cleaned and reorganized and gone totally wild, but all that’s really left is to put all of the extra fabric nicely into that new cubby shelf, and rearrange absolutely everything on the walls (and mount my prop weapons!) All this is to say I should have a lot of projects coming soon, but I’m currently spending about 10 hours a day working on Alina Starkov for the Labyrinth of Jareth Masquerade and DragonCon, and I’m estimating that I still won’t be even close to done in time. I’m hoping to coordinate with Ruy some shoots of already completed costumes that we just haven’t gotten around to yet, including Poison Ivy in my Tinkerbell dress since the new Harley Quinn season comes out this week! That was a lot to throw out there, but thank you for sticking around. I’m finishing some edits on the new Stranger Things set we did two weeks ago and should have that here soon!
