There were a lot of times that I didn’t go to something because I felt ugly or like a burden, but I’d later find out that the group just thought I didn’t care and then they were sad too. I think maybe I’ll try to be there for people even if I don’t feel great about myself - at least then we all have a nice comforting presence to cancel out a little of the societal pressure voices haha
