It’s an amazing comic. There are so many things I want to praise, especially the way you express emotions. The hand underwater in the first panel hits harder than showing the whole body submerged. It really captures that suffocating, overwhelmed feeling. And the second panel (with the lines and colors splitting apart) shows that confused, dissociated state so well. (It looks like you shifted the layers around to get that effect. Simple but super striking. I loved it.) The next panel, with the pale background and the pills drawn in white lines, gives this sense of helplessness. You take the meds because the clinic gave them to you, but honestly, psychiatric meds don’t work quickly, and even when they do, it’s never dramatic. It reminded me of that slow, dragging feeling from back then. It was your comic and the direction was great, so I enjoyed the reading, but at the same time, it hit so close to home that it was a bit hard to read. (Not because the trigger warning was lacking; your comic was just that powerful. Really impressive.) It was a fantastic comic. As always.

Putting to words the feeling of being both lonely and overstimulated at the same time was very compelling and relatable! I’m trying to figure out ways to socialize that don’t consume my batteries so much, and while it’s tough I think just trying different things has led to tiny bits of progress. I’ll be thinking of you too- I hope both of us find a mentally/socially better place with time
