In capter 371 she claim that she learned that trick from an "handsome tanned man". Don't know if this the exact term use in english.

Good point, now that i double checked, its a one off line from her meeting him at some point but never shown hence why i didnt consider him ever interacting with Cana at all, i thought you meant Ren since hes more prominent and BP and FT always tend to interact a lot more after Oracion

You should feel lucky, that was just one chapter to end with a nice twist. Spider-man readers have to suffer 4 years of straight up NTR storyline!

That’s true... although I thought she might end up with him—just to avoid another "obvious" pairing (I mean, Alzack and Bisca were already the couple that was clearly going to end up together)—but I’m glad she ended up with Natsu. Since I figured Cana wouldn’t get a boyfriend, I ended up creating an OC for her... actually, I created an entire guild for the *Fairy Tail* universe. I tried to weave it into the story as seamlessly as possible—ensuring they didn’t feel intrusive while still having their own moments in the plot—and included elements that I personally enjoyed. And yes, I’ll admit it: I did it to give Cana, Lissanna (since Lucy ended up with Natsu), Millianna, and Kagura a boyfriend each... those four are my favorites among the characters who don’t have a partner.

Mind you... for me, he always should have been with Black Cat, but... what a difficult woman; you never know what she really wants. Then there's Mary Jane, who even hooked up with Harry's dad. He really should have just ended up with Silk... at least he would have been guaranteed some sex.

As for Black Cat... well, there isn't one yet—I mean, there is one where they had a daughter, but at that time she was with Flash; they later split up, but she didn't end up with Peter.

Interesting but yea i feel like Mashima wrote such great characters that they should end up happy with someone eventually 😊 As for Lisanna ... yikes.. imo she shouldve stayed dead... Nothing against her btw

I suppose he brought her back because many fans found her interesting, and he didn't want her to be limited to just flashbacks... Or perhaps just to make us tear our hair out, wondering if Natsu might leave Lucy for Lissanna. The personality I gave the character I paired with Cana is a blend of Lyonel Baratheon, Jaghatai Khan from Warhammer 40K, and Cole Train from Gears of War.

It's just that since 2007 Spider-man is in the hand of old fanboy who either ressent that Gwen die or that he ended up married at all. And the one time someone try fix this issue (betwen 2018 & 2022), he get botted and we ended up with one of the worst Spider-man story ever written. If anything the biggest victim is Mary Jane, who get her repuation tarnished because of this.

I heard rumours where he brought her back because he had beef with the og studio director who loved her so much he forced Mashima to bring her back, and another where he said he liked her character so much and wanted to give Natsu and Lucy the love triangle treatment but then backed out the moment he found out how popular Nalu was by then. Again, no hate to the girl but her being dead would’ve made Natsu, Mira and Elf moving on more impactful..

Well, honestly, they added story arcs that weren't in the manga—like the Spirit Tower arc—so I suppose a single character doesn't seem like much to them...
