Override (audio, audio drama, A3E9) (Patreon)

Hey esteemed Patrons!  This is another episode of the Deep Dream State.  It follows the pattern of series audio then standalone audio that I’m setting up. You get double value here at the Neuroplex Emporium.

It’s for the Sitri Center Arc.  I’m proud of all the arcs, but this one in particular is special to me.  I think it’s really hit its stride for the format.  The plot are layered and complex.  It’s also all recorded in one go, which makes a HUGE difference.  Prior arcs were week-to-week so required some soap operative script fixes when life inevitably disrupted the best laid plans. (Particular thanks are due to Bliss Blank and SwirlsAndTwirls, who did additional work to keep the format consistent despite my random aspirational guesses about episode length.)CONTENT WARNINGS: All prior content warnings apply.   This episode brings the drone imaginaries to life.  (It’s also worth nothing the “variations on a theme” structure that pervades the series.  These are similar audio backdrops, but placed through different effects chain.  I think this makes the ad jingle in particular utterly impossible to forget.)

CONSENT DECLARATION: All scenes within the Deep Dream State take place within an affirmative consent framework.  The depicted stories should not be confused with either real life or any form of ideal.  This is dystopian on purpose.
