Description

Pom Buzz is the latest in a line of 1 2 3 4 chant releases for varsity-level cheer spirit. It’s also pure vibes, without the extensive lore and backstory of many recent releases.

That’s a strength. The Neuralverse needs to keep changing it up. Some tracks demand attention; some work while doing other things. This absolutely works while doing other things.

It does imagine a scenario.

The squad’s doing a high-energy routine in a crowded stadium. It's high energy and it's a lot better arranged thant the early Chant tracks. The track imagines that their poms are, in fact, haptic. They’re doing a whole different kind of routine and showing off their best pomgrip. They've also got a trampoline and they're not afraid to use it.

This squad is excellent. It features some of my favorite performers. It also marks the triumphant return of TBQ to the spotlight. She/they are in some of the best early classic work. It’s a delight to have her back.

I’ve been behind on haptic releases. I’ll be sure to keep up with that bfore dawn, because that's really part of the design.
