Daeron Targaryen, close to Su Wong Desert, Earth Kingdom

"We are approaching our destination, according to the maps of the village, the desert should be quite close" exclaimed Aang with a huge smile looking at the rest of the team

As usual Toph was sitting next to Daeron, who looked back with a frown, for some strange reason, watching as a flock of birds flew from the trees

“And what do we plan to find in the desert?” Sokka asked with doubt in his voice

Without taking his eyes off the ground, Daeron replied

"It's the largest library in the earthly and spiritual world, I'm sure we'll find something interesting," Jon said, totally focused on the ground, there was something strange happening down there

"I understand, but then what shall we do?" Sokka asked

Toph simply shrugged his shoulders and spoke

"I'll teach Aang to dominate the Earth, and then, I don't know, wherever Daeron goes, I'll go there, I suppose my fiancé will consolidate his power over the coalition, the compromise between Daeron and me puts him in an advantageous situation in the Earth Kingdom" said the beautiful young woman calmly

Katara looked at Toph curiously, while Aang simply asked

“What do you mean?” The bald monk was really curious

Toph snorted and said

"I am a maiden of the Beifong family, a noble family in the kingdom, my marriage to Daeron will give him an important political advantage," said the beautiful young woman

Still not understanding, Sokka asked

"But why would your marriage to Jon be important?"

Daeron simply sighed and said

"Because, as soon as Toph is married, the cities of the coalition will have a pretext to disown the earth king and kneel before the throne of Agna Qel'a," Daeron said firmly

"Oh," Sokka said realistically, while Aang looked uncomfortable and Katara looked at Daeron with a frown for some reason 

Aang was about to answer, when suddenly Daeron stood up, watching, again, a flock leave the forest quickly

"Someone is following us," Daeron said with determination

A second later, a glow in the forest was the only thing that alerted the White Wolf to the attack, followed by a powerful and dangerous lightning bolt, thanks to his instinct, Daeron was able to intercept condensing water from the sky below Appa

The thunder came later, with such force that poor Appa was alerted

Then, three giant salamander-like creatures emerged from the forest, running at full speed after Appa, the three girls of Omashu were back

And behind them, at least fifty Fire Nation soldiers, mounted on similar mounts, began to throw fireballs at Appa, it was evident that these men were no ordinary fire benders, their flames were precise and lethal, and their armor denoted a rank superior to conventional soldiers, although it was evident that the three young women were the ones in command

And apparently, more furious than ever, considering that the young woman in the middle was preparing another lightning bolt

Daeron simply frowned and looking at his team, began to give orders

"We must descend, Appa is too exposed in the air," Daeron said, at the same time summoning several rings of water around the ball of hair.

"Aang, look for high ground, something that will allow us to fortify our position," Daeron ordered, stopping another flash of lightning, at the same time freezing a large amount of water and throwing it at the enemy in the form of dangerous ice stakes

"I see a hill with a small lake, I'll land there," Aang said completely serious

"Katara, cover us," Daeron ordered, as he prepared another shower of ice spears, as the water bender began to condense water into steam at high speed, obstructing the fire benders' view

Releasing the second wave of ice spears, Appa began to land

Quickly, the young king began to give orders

"Toph, fortify our position, a simple, square and stepped bastion, place mud between two walls of rock to mitigate the damage of the fireballs, after concentrating on keeping the enemies together, right in the attack range of Aang and Katara" he said quickly

The earth bender nodded and began to obey Daeron's orders, at the same time as the Northern Dragon looked towards Aang and Katara

"You divert the flow from the lake to the wall, to ensure quick access, you outnumber us, but the elevated position gives us an advantage, techniques for crowd control, use steam or ice stakes on knees and arms to deny you access to Fire control," Daeron said with a cold and merciless look

Aang was about to respond, but a push from Katara silenced him, at the same time that the young southern woman shook her head

"Sokka, bow and arrow, throat or thighs, attack at close range, we must reduce their numbers before entering the desert."

Everyone nodded

"I'll be at the front, fighting the princess, I'll make her focus all her attention on me, get Appa ready and wet his fur, in case a fireball hits him, he won't be hurt."

Everyone nodded determinedly, understanding the troubled situation they were in

"Come on," Daeron said, at the same time that the first waves of enemies began to arrive, being led by the princess and her companions

"Time for the show," Daeron said, propelling himself with his fire bending into the air, and using it to launch himself towards the princess and her companions like a living arrow of fire, piercing mercilessly soldiers along the way

The fierceness, speed and lethality of the attack alarmed the princess, but with agility and mastery of fire bending, she wrapped herself in a cocoon of fire, receiving the attack, but being sent, along with Jon, to the depths of the forest

Seeing this, their two companions hastened to help them, while they ordered

“Capture the avatar!” A young woman with a long braid cried seriously, before following the path of fire and destruction

In the distance, blue and white flames could be seen, evidently the fight between Daeron and the princess had begun

Princess Azula, a second later

Upon receiving the attack of her future husband, Azula prepared to respond in conditions, however, the white wolf responded with an accurate kick, which generated a wall of fire and forced the princess to retreat to mark distance and catch her breath

Azula inhaled hard, watching as an aura of white flames caressed her rival's body, while his robe was slowly burned, leaving him with his exquisite torso totally naked, leaving in view scars of war that, in the princess's opinion, looked great

"Your mastery of fire bending is exquisite, consider me impressed, something that doesn't happen often," said the princess elegantly, quite nervous

Not thanks to the fight, because she is so close to her future husband and owner, overwhelmed by his masculine presence

"Why are you following us? Wasn't your defeat in Omashu enough of a lesson?” he asks calmly

Azula looked at him with feigned calmness and replied

"In Omashu you were lucky, nothing more and nothing less" although the words were empty, and apparently

Her opponent knew it

"You lie so badly that it's even pathetic, it's no surprise that your fire bending is so weak" said the stranger with pity in his voice

And that comment had made the princess react violently, she could be criticized for anything, except her fire control, she was a prodigy, perfect

Her technique, her power, her skill, was the pinnacle of the sacred art of fire bending

so, with fury and a scream, she began a lethal combination of attacks, which, in a normal fire bender, would be simply overwhelming and merciless

In the white wolf? There was no effect, he intercepted each and every one with elegance and mastery, the powerful blue flames, a symbol of status and power in her nation, were easily subdued by the monstrous and terrifying white fire, so hot that even several meters away, Azula could feel the heat they radiated

And apparently, his rival was completely immune to them, like an incarnate dragon

And then, his rival spoke

"My turn" and Azula shuddered

An attack stance, a roar, and twin dragons of white fire slammed at the princess at full speed, consuming everything in their path, jaws open and intimidating

The princess knew perfectly well that she wouldn't be able to stop that attack, so, using her fire bending, she slid to the side

Right towards the prodigious fire bender's next attack, sending her to the ground with a screech

The princess's armor was ruined, the fire had wreaked havoc and she had burns on her chest, but the adrenaline did not let her think clearly, she still felt danger, after all

Azula looked up, to see how the white wolf walked towards her, at the same time that a whip of fire was created in his hand

What was he doing? That was not the dream! He had to approach her, take her hair and make her his own, conquer her and tame her, the princess thought to herself

However, the walk was interrupted by her friends, Mai and Ty Lee left the woods to see the situation she was in

“AZULA!”  shouted Ty Lee, as he ran towards his lover with concern on his face, while Mai began to throw waves of daggers towards the rival, wishing to divert his attention from the princess

When she arrived, Ty Lee took her in her arms and asked

"My love, are you okay? What happened?” the anguish on her face more than evident

Azula grunted in discomfort, but replied

"His fire is very powerful, it's savage and lethal, a simple attack did this to me," Azula said, looking with desire as the White Wolf completely dominated and subdued Mai, in a beautiful and dangerous mixture of water and fire bending

In an instant, Mai was in her hands and knees, her hands, feet and neck frozen to the ground, totally immobilized, with such alarming ease that even her stoic friend looked with mixed feelings at her rival

"I'll make him pay for this," said Ty Lee, really angry and unable to think clearly, before rushing at full speed towards her opponent, pirouetting to avoid his attacks

Azula watched proudly as her lover approached the White Wolf, dodging his fireballs and managed to land a blow on his arm, evidently hoping that he would lose mobility of the appendix in question

However, what happened was something totally different, a metallic sound was heard on the battlefield, at the same time that Ty Lee took her hand in obvious pain, distracting her

And allowing her rival to subdue her with water bending, leaving her in the same position as Mai, looking towards Azula totally defenseless, at the same time that the rival walked towards the princess

"NO, STAY AWAY FROM HER, YOU'VE HURT HER ENOUGH, STAY AWAY FROM HER" the fury and despair were more than evident

Azula watched the imposing warrior approach, she was in a pathetic state, however, she stood up, ready to fight, although there was desperation on her face

"Why are you doing this? Why don't you do the same thing you do to me in my dream?” The desperation in her voice and the tears on her face made the white wolf stop and look at her in confusion

“Dream?” Curiosity more than evident

Azula, with crazed eyes, nodded

"YES, my dream, where you defeat me, subdue me and make me yours, marry me and conquer the fire nation, why don't you do that? Why do you keep rejecting me? Why?” cried the princess completely out of her mind, wishing with her deranged to be an answer

At this point, the rival hesitated, not seeing a rival, or a warrior, simply a young princess, broken and aimless

With a sigh, the man moved his hand quickly, summoning tentacles of water and subduing Azula in seconds, who was not in a suitable state of mind to fight, and calmly, he walked towards the princess, who was watching him with eyes full of hope

"It is not conventional, and it is not necessary, if you order me to place myself in any position, I will do it without hesitation" said the princess in a totally submissive tone and quite different from her usual arrogance, power and superiority

"Silence," said the warrior, at the same time that a layer of water covered his hand and it began to glow with a blue light

A second later, the handsome man placed his hand on the princess's chest, who could only moan decomposed at the pleasant sensation of the water healing her wound

"Don't follow us, it's the only warning I'll give you," said the man, as he separated his hand, showing that the princess's burn had disappeared, leaving a smooth, beautiful and well-groomed snowy skin, with small brown nipples visible on her generous breasts, Azula didn't care, she belonged to this man and he could see and do with her what he wanted

But then, he stood up and began to walk away from the princess, at the same time using his hand and freeing Mai and Ty Lee

"Take care of your friend, she is young and war is cruel," she ordered firmly, causing both of them to nod, totally submissive to the imposing presence of that man

Thunder began to be heard in the sky, it was dark, a powerful storm was coming

"What will you do with us?" Mai asked tentatively, with her eyes lowered

Confused, the warrior looked at Mai and asked

“What do you mean? You are defeated, go back to your lives and get away from me and my brats," said the warrior

Ty Lee snorted, looking at him with some anger, but still responded respectfully in her voice

"You've tamed us all three, twice, you conquered us, you can do whatever you please with us," Ty Lee said with resignation

The answer? A snort of disbelief

"Live your lives, find a good man and have a nice family, stay away from this war, I will finish off Ozai, with his generals and ministers, but I have nothing against the fire nation in general, stay away from all this, while you are in time," he said sincerely

Mai, with complicated eyes I look at him

“What's your name? I want to know the name of the warrior who conquered me in battle with such alarming ease," asked the young woman

There was a silence and then, an answer, a name

"My name is Daeron Targaryen" and with all the calmness in the world, at the same time that the avatar's bison was approaching, it seemed, they had defeated all the masters who accompanied them

The bison landed, at the same time as a terrifying one was unleashed, however, not a single drop wet the bison, his team and his three enemies, thanks to the White Wolf's water bending mastery

"The rest of the soldiers?" he Wonders

Azula watched as a southern savage responded quickly, evidently wishing to please her master, the princess thought maliciously

"Everyone defeated, there were no deaths, but some will not control fire anymore," he replied

The white wolf nodded and proceeded to approach the bison, ready to climb, however, powerful lightning began to be heard, frightening the animal

Sighing, Daeron looked up at the sky and shook his head

"We won't go anywhere, it would be dangerous for the big boy," he said while caressing an uncomfortable Appa, who had a terror of storms, for some strange reason

Aang nodded and said

"We'll build a shelter here, until the deluge passes," he said as he disembarked, at the same time that Katara and Sokka helped a cranky Toph to the ground

"I'll take care of it," said Earth Bender, erecting a wide shelter, spacious enough for Appa to feel safe

"Katara, use your water bending and knock down a couple of trees, I'll use my fire bending to dry the wood and keep warm tonight," Daeron said, taking control of the situation quickly

"What shall we do with them?" Sokka asked, looking suspiciously at the defeated young women, who did not stop looking at Daeron intensely and obsessively

Daeron looked at them sternly, and answers

"They'll stay tonight, in the morning, when the storm passes, and they'll go away, and they won't bother us again, right?" asked the White Wolf, although everyone knew it was an order

They all nodded, two with relief on their faces and one of them with obvious annoyance

Daeron sighed, his brats from before and the brats he had just met, all together under the same roof without being able to leave until the storm was over

A princess of the Fire Nation, with her two noble maidens in company, two Southerners of the Water tribe and an Imperial maiden of the Earth kingdom, all together under the same roof, a fucking bad joke in her opinion

Oh, and the avatar, of course

What's the worst that could happen?

Avatar Aang, a couple of hours later

“So, do you feel the tension too?” Sokka asked, while they stayed away from the complicated situation and ate their dinner

Katara had cooked as usual, a delicious and robust stew, and as usual, she had served Jon first

Aang was not stupid, it was evident that Katara had feelings for Jon, or Daeron and tried to please him frequently, it was something that, although it cost him, he had accepted with sadness

But even he knew that what he saw was a ridiculous situation

Jon sat in the center, on one side, Toph and Katara, as close to Jon as possible, while on the other, the three warriors of the Fire Nation did the same, staying away, but evidently seeking Jon's approval

Even the princess, who, in Aang's opinion was completely insane, staring at Katara and Toph as if she wished to murder them on the spot

Probably that's what she wanted, thought the monk

“Why did they follow us? Do you want to capture Aang as your brother?” Katara asked with a frown, although her voice sounded cordial, no doubt in Jon's presence

The three maidens snorted

"Please, we are not after a small and hyperactive monk, although that was my foolish father's wish, I was following my future husband," said the princess with determination and a tone of smugness, as if her words were absolute

“Future husband? you mean Jon?” Katara asked with disbelief shared by Toph, Sokka and Aang

"Daeron," Azula corrected smugly

“My father is a fool, he has lost a third of his army, which, now loyal to the white wolf or as they call it, the dragon of the north, questions the right of the Fire Lord to govern the nation, if he is not able to face another fire bender in an Agni Kai, so,  I took matters into my own hands, Daeron would marry me, conquer the throne and rule the fire nation with me forever, just as I dreamed," said the deranged princess with a tone of finality

 Katara and Toph, frowned furiously, similar to Caribou Lionesses and said

"Daeron is my betrothed, in two years he will marry me, and the territories of the Earth kingdom will swear allegiance to him as their king," Toph said with determination to the disbelief of the fire maidens and Katara, who evidently wished to say a few words

"Silence," Daeron ordered, a simple word, an order, and all the women present obeyed, lowering their gaze instantly

"Damn," Sokka said, really impressed

"Wait, then, did you follow us because you want to help Jon dethrone your father?" Aang asked, looking for clarification

Azula, the princess, looked at him like he was a fool and replied

"No, I followed you so that my future husband will claim what is already his, that is, me, and take the throne by conquest, the fire nation is holding its breath, the people in the colonies and in the capital are whispering, waiting for the first move, the exploits of the northern dragon are numerous, and if he launches a formal declaration of conquest, many in the nation would support him,  moreover, with me, as his wife," said the princess with total calmness

Aang watched in amusement as Jon massaged his face, begging the Moon for patience for sure

Aang, sensing an opportunity, said

“Travel with us” with all the calm in the world and a huge smile

There was a moment of silence, where everyone in the shelter, including Jon, looked at him in utter amazement, at the brilliant idea he had just had

And suddenly, everyone laughed loudly and non-stop, at the absurd idea he had just said

"By the spirits Aang, what a good joke" Katara said with tears in her eyes

The princess replied

"I agree with the savage peasant girl, my husband deserves to travel in all the luxuries of the Fire Nation, with legions of soldiers at his command and servants for his desires, not in…that” he said looking at Appa, who simply blew at the princess, sending her to the ground with a screech

However, to everyone's surprise, Toph replied

“Not a bad idea”

Aang looked at Toph with a smile, thinking he was referring to his idea of traveling together

"If Daeron took me and Princess sparky as wives, he would have control of practically all three nations, the world would really know peace, under the watchful eye of the White Wolf" she said to herself, and the more she thought about it, the more she seemed to like the idea

Katara quickly intervened

"He will need a water-master wife, it's only fair," she said, looking intently at Toph, while the princess sat down again and looked at the savages with interest

“It seems that you are not as incompetent as you seem, have you thought of anything particular?” Azula asked, eager for a solution to her dilemma

All the women began to talk and plan Daeron's life with each other, completely ignoring the others, including the man in question, who simply shook his head and stood up, leaving the women in their interesting talk and leaving the shelter

Aang was about to follow him, but Sokka grabbed his arm and shook his head

"No, this is difficult for him, leave him alone"

Aang nodded, but still, he watched with concern as his brother walked through the rain in total calm, evidently lost in thought

Aang just hoped he was okay

Daeron Targaryen, minutes later

He had to get out of there; he just wasn't in the mood to hear how they planned to give him three wives and two consorts quite naturally

Daeron looked up at the sky, the storm was still raging, but he still felt his wife's warm embrace, as he did every night

"Nothing escapes your sight, my wife, I suppose you know the intentions of the illustrious ladies," he said acceptingly

There was no answer, as every night, from the swamp, Jon talked to his wife and daughter every day, knowing that they were listening to him, but receiving no answer

"It's difficult, they talk about unification, they talk about the three nations bowing down to me and my descendants, and even so, I feel dirty, a traitor, thinking about you and that I'm failing you," he said sincerely

"I wish you were here, politics was always your strong point, I'm only good at war, and nothing else," he said with a sad smile, as the storm continued

Daeron waited for a sign, or something, but there was simply no response, as he did every night, drawing a sigh from the young warrior's lips

"I suppose, I'm alone, in this situation," the acceptance was no less painful

He needed an answer, a guide, or a sign

However, there was no response, Daeron was alone and perhaps that was the sign he was waiting for, that he himself had to decide what to do

And to his own misfortune, he didn't have a clear answer, just feelings, sensations, and desires as scattered as his mind right now

“It's complicated, isn't it?” said a female voice behind him

Quickly, Daeron looked at her, it was that beautiful girl with the braid, with a slim and elegant body, who looked at him soaked, with understanding on her face

Daeron used his water bending and dried her up instantly, to the young woman's grateful smile and makes sure to keep the water away from her

"I don't know what to do, I still miss my wife, I'm still in mourning, listening to them talk like that, it's complicated," he said sincerely

The beautiful young woman nodded and spoke

"I know, it's the same thing I feel when the love of my life, that beautiful princess who is giving you her life, her kingdom and her legacy on a silver platter talks about you" There was some resentment in the young woman's voice, but also acceptance

"I wanted to talk to you, you are extraordinary, there is no doubt about that, and your destiny is glorious, you were born to rule, and I know that, sooner or later, you will accept my princess's deal," Ty Lee said with certainty

Daeron frowned and was going to answer, however, Ty Lee beat him to it

“Promise me, right here that, when you are ready, you will love and protect her, life has been cruel to her, unfair even, she considers herself a monster, promise me that you will treat her as the wonderful and beautiful princess that she is and in return, I will be at your complete service, I will be the most helpful of your concubines and I will fulfill all your fantasies,  but promise me that you will love my princess as she deserves to be loved," said Ty Lee, while, to Daeron's disbelief, she knelt before him, pleading in her brown eyes

Daeron simply stared at her in silence, causing the young woman to despair

"I will, when the time comes, for now, we have a lot to plan, you will return to the fire nation and give me information from within, and when the time comes, I will end this stupid war, once and for all," the warrior promised with determination

Ty Lee, still on his knees, replied

"And when that happens and you take my princess as your own, I will be there, ready to keep our promise, at your total disposal."

The weight of those words was evident in the situation, and it was a promise I was not going to break

It would bring peace and balance to the world, one way or another
