Aemon Targayren, The Wall, Somewhere
As soon as he entered the forge, Aemon thought it would be his end, The lady had disappeared And, in her place, an inhospitable and unrelenting cold invaded his body, even colder than those distant afternoons in Winterfell
"Where the hell am I?" Aemon wondered, around there was only fog without any trace of any Forge, he only heard whispers that repeated the same word over and over again
“Bastard Bastard Bastard” Over and over again like a hammer his ears, Although that didn't matter to him, His attention was all around this…peculiar place, trying to figure out what the hell was going on
When suddenly, the fog opened and a castle appeared, It was old and evidently decaying, located the foot of a huge Wall of Ice, a clearly indicator of where he was, Aemon knew this place from Luwin’s books
He was On the Wall, In Castle Black
Home of the Night's Watch
The lit torches gave away that, In the corridors of the Castle something important was happening, So, cautiously, Aemon took his wand and prepared to enter the castle Without any fear
His wand vibrated, but not in the usual way, it was restless even fearful, something strange, considering that this wand had never failed him before, and Aemon trusted that it would not start to fail him now
Upon entering the castle, he saw how the brothers of the Watch entered the main hall, evidently something important was happening and Aemon would find out what it was
"Hey, what's going on in there?" Aemon demanded with a frown, making it quite clear that he expected an answer and was not in the mood for games
When they see him, the brothers looked at him with surprise, but they answer a moment later
"Lord Commander, what are you doing here? We thought you were already in the Great Hall," replied the youngest of them. Looking at the young Lord Stark
“What the hell are you talking about?” Aemon snapped making both of them squirm a little, before rushing toward the Castle, not looking back at him, Aemon just shook his head, something was very wrong, he need to be on guard in this dangerous place, his wand as well as him were tense, not knowing where the hell they were
So, with leaden feet, Aemon began to walk towards his destiny, it was easy, he just followed the torches, the path to the Main Hall was the only one with light, however, his mind was still cautious, fearing what he would find
After the longest walk of his life, Aemon arrived at the Great Hall, where the rest of the Watch was present, looking at him in total silence
However, that mattered little to the young dragon, His full attention was on the silhouette Sitting in the main one, That of the Lord Commander, where to Aemon's surprise, A familiar subject was sitting
Too familiar in his opinion
They shared the same features, The same long face with the Valyrian features so angular and aesthetic, Black wavy hair, with high cheekbones and gray eyes, The stranger dressed in black, A huge bear cloak adorned his shoulders, While, from his waist, The silhouette of an elegant and beautiful sword was noticeable, With a white wolf's head on the knob
"You've arrived, Jon," said the stranger, nodding to himself, evidently pleased by Aemon's presence, who worked, frowning, replied
"My name isn't Jon and you know it perfectly," Aemon snapped
His double simply laughed, it was a cruel sound and perfectly denoted the contempt that the stranger felt towards Aemon
"Are you still in your stupid illusions? You're Jon Snow, in Westeros, you'll always be Jon Snow, Eddard Stark's bastard, just that”
Oh, this imbecile wished to die, Aemon thought with utter contempt, as he placed his wand in an attack position, ready to char this crude, inferior copy
However, when Aemon prepared to cast the first spell, his trusty wand just didn't work
It was still alive, he could feel it, and yet it refused to respond to his orders, for some strange reason
"Are you having problems Jon? Something is not, right?” asked for his copy, drawing his sword, which gained a blue glow, emanating an icy aura that froze Aemon's blood
"Abomination," Aemon snapped, wielding his wand, trying to channel magic towards it, without getting an answer
His double just laughed, his eyes turned red, and he spoke
"I'm you, I'm what you've tried to forget for so long, we're Jon Snow, the bastard of Winterfell, our destiny is to belong to the Night's Watch, nothing more," he said, at the same time that he pounced on Aemon slashing with that terrifying sword
"Jon Snow doesn't exist," Aemon replied, hatred in his eyes at his double, seeing himself dressed in black, with that damn cape, before it was his dream, when he believed that this was the only honorable destiny of a bastard
But Aemon was not a bastard, nor was the Watch honorable, it was a punishment, a penance, the fate that the accursed Raven wished to impose on him
They wanted to subdue the dragon in him, to extinguish his fire and his life, and he will never allow it
He will burn all his enemies to ashes, sooner or later
All will bow to the Dragon King, even if he will have to…paid
Paid the price, thought Aemon, remembering the Lady speech of before
Aemon look at his hand, understanding the Lady's words
The forge demanded a sacrifice, something valuable to Aemon, and in this case...
His beloved wand... that which, in his darkest hour, made him feel special, that which, of all the Starks, only he possessed
The wand meant a deep connection, but there was a problem...
It was a connection to his past, the one that was forged when in his mind, he still considered himself Jon Snow desiring to be a Stark
And therefore, it was a burden to Aemon Targaryen, something that was extremely valuable to Jon in the past
Something that... He had to leave behind, if he wanted to reach his destination, his wand signified his connection with magic, but as if remembering the basic principle of alchemy
To get anywhere, we must leave something behind
To become Aemon Targaryen fully, Jon Snow had to die
"So be it," he muttered to himself, taking his wand in both hands, under the now wary gaze of his double
"What will you do? Will you destroy the one thing that makes you special? Without that wand you are nothing, you are not a wizard, just another bastard, destined for a sad and empty existence” he snaps cruelly; however his eyes were weary, almost…afraid
Aemon just looked at him indifferently, taking the wand in both hands and spoke
"The wand doesn't make the wizard," and without hesitation, he broke his beloved wand in half, forged from the branch of the tree that sent him here, a direct connection to Jon Snow's memory and that stormy past in Winterfell
Was Aemon worried about not doing magic again? Of course not, the power was in the wizard, in his blood, not in the wand, that was something that the wizarding world had forgotten
But not Aemon
And then, the Lady's voice was heard again, pleased
"The payment is accepted, Aemon Targaryen, Lord of the Dragons, Kill the Bastard and let the King be born," ordered the powerful entity, at the same time that the great hall of Castle Black disappeared, now they were at the top of the Wall, with a beautiful and starry sky, where, to his amazement, the Branches of Yggdrasil were present, Connecting each and every star with his titanic power
"The Tree of the nine Worlds," he whispered with a huge smile
However, the magical moment was interrupted by Jon Snow, who looked at him with obvious contempt in his eyes
"Do you think it's that easy you cunt? That I'll just let you finish me off? I AM YOU! ARE YOU ABLE TO FACE YOUR WORST FEARS?” he snap hatefully, looking at Aemon with a look full of madness, something that for someone else would have been somewhat intimidating
However, Aemon, only imposed pity, this... This being in front of him was the remnant of Jon Snow, a lie, created to try to subdue and kill the dragon
Something they would never achieve
Aemon looked at his hand, wielding what was left of his beloved wand and using all his willpower
"Give me the weapon of a King” he ordered firmly
And the primordial flames of the Forge obeyed...
The wood ignited, bathing his hand in fire and forming a flaming sword, a replica in size of the one his double carried
"It must be sealed in blood, of what you leave behind," ordered the Lady, the message more than clear
Aemon Targaryen's Royal Sword was supposed to be forged in Jon Snow's blood, so, looking directly at his double, he simply said
"I'll enjoy this" with cruel eyes and a wicked smile, and without wasting time, he grabbed the flaming sword and pounced on his copy
Aemon Targaryen and Jon Snow dueled
And only one would make it out alive...
Ser Arthur Dayne, Dorne
Hidden like a rat, oh how low he had fallen, thought the King's Guard as he moved in the dead of night entering the Martells' palace with subtlety gained after years of being a fucking shadow, sneaking down the drains of the Old Palace, evading the Usurper's spies
The passageway, as usual, was empty, the princes making sure to keep the few guards away at this specific hour, allowing Arthur to enter calmly
Although at this moment, the knight's thoughts were far away from Doran and Oberyn Martell
Arriving at the end of the passageway, Arthur pressed down on a particular brick, operating the mechanism behind him and slowly starting to climb the stairs
Straight to his quarters
After endless stairs, Arthur arrived totally exhausted in the room he occupied when he was in Sunspear, the comfortable bed, the austere desk, the lit candles and...
Candles lit? The knight thought
"I have been waiting for you for days," said a feminine voice, soft and gentle, joyful at the presence of the errant knight
Arthur simply took off his travel cloak and walked toward the door, locking it
"No one else will come to this area of the castle and you know it," said the female voice, at the same time that a pair of hands caressed his chest from behind, filling Arthur with complete peace
As well as an infinite guilt, an unpleasant feeling, to be honest
“How did your mission go?” asked the woman, who began to take off the knight's dirty robe, taking the time to caress his body intensely
And Arthur replied
"It was useless, Ser Darry died and the prince and princess disappeared, it is evident that someone herds them like cattle, no doubt to use them as pawns," the knight snapped, sighing with pleasure as he felt how the delicate and feminine hands massaged his tense back
“News of Gerold and Oswell?” asked the woman, now giving delicate kisses on Arthur's shoulders, who only closed his eyes
“Gerold remains hidden in the Hightower making small tasks for Lord Leyton and preparing a fleet to besiege the Rock, while Oswell secretly fortifies Harrenhall with the support of Lady Whent, as soon as Prince Aemon rises in arms, the banners of the Dragon will be raised in the eye of the Gods and in Oldtown, a boot in the ass of the Tullys, the Baratheons and the Lannisters," Arthur said, pleased with the progress
The incarnate Goddess behind him didn't answer, still uncomfortable with the subject of Prince Aemon
"Lord Stark visited your sister," said the beautiful woman, surprising Arthur, who simply sighed
"I guess that didn't end well," he said frankly
The beautiful lady behind him just laughed softly and replied
"Well, you imagine incorrectly, from the details your sister told me, Lord Stark retains his virility and his vigor, a passionate night, for the old days, the product of a long conversation and more wine than necessary apparently, Ash didn't give me the details" the fun more than evident in her voice
Arthur shook his head and said
"That's not Lord Stark," Arthur said, choking out a groan as he felt the delicate hand begin to massage his cock
"Passion can't be hidden, now, undress for me and come on, I need your cock, now," ordered the beautiful woman, taking Arthur's virile member and dragging him into a huge tub in the joint room
With concern, the knight asked
"Wait, what's happen with...Ahggg” Arthur groaned as he felt the beautiful Lady skillfully massage him, attacking all of his weak spots at the same time
"She's not here, she went riding with Ari to the Water Gardens and took the old fur ball with her, thanks the seven, so no one is going to interrupt us, I don't want to feel my cunt in the morning," ordered the beautiful woman, now kissing Arthur on the neck, breaking his resistance
Like every time they were together, Arthur was a slave to the beautiful Lady in front of him, even if guilt ate him up every damn morning
The Things We Do For Love, as his former squire used to said
For the rest of the night, the mysterious woman's moans of pleasure flooded the abandoned wing of the castle, with no witness to attest to the passion that was being released among the clandestine lovers
The pieces were moving and the game did not rest, but tonight...
Tonight, was theirs and no one could take it away from them
Chief Elle, The Forge, Stark Lands
“Mmmmm my lady, are you sure that everything is fine? They have passed... three days since Lord Stark entered your flames," said the Giant with obvious concern
She knew that Lord Stark was alive and better than ever, the Stark Lands gained strength and vitality, which meant that the Lord of the Castle also gained power, but even Elle thought that three days was too long
The Lady, for her part, simply said
"It will take as long as it should take" with a soft tone of voice, but with a reprimand in it, making Elle blush
"I understand, but if the young Lord doesn't return to the castle we may have to..." However, Elle's voice was choked, when the forge lit up, the orange flames changed to an amethyst color, unleashing a power so monstrous that even Elle shuddered just to witness it
And the Lady spoke
"So be it, Yggdrasil has judged you worthy, the price has been paid, a bastard has died and a King has born, gallant and proud, House Targaryen is accepted into the covenant of the White Oak, rise, Aemon Targaryen, wielder of Dawn Bringer, Sword of kings"
Elle laughed hard, relieved by Lord Stark's return
However,...
It was evident that the person who entered the primordial flames was not the same one who emerged
His torso was bare, and his arms covered in runic tattoos, from his fingertips to his elbows, these shone with the purest magic, surrounding his arms with an aura of black flames
His hair had burned, he was totally bald, his long jet black hair was a thing of the past
And finally, the most significant change
His eyes, those gray orbs so characteristic of the Starks, had disappeared, being replaced by a pair of amethyst stars that stared, totally concentrated, at the most beautiful sword Elle had ever seen
Constructed of a dark metal, with veins of red-colored magic running through it, giving it a wild look, with a white hilt with a white dragon's pommel, while the guard simulated a pair of wings, the sword radiated so much magic that even its axe seemed like a mere trinket in comparison
And at that moment, the Lady spoke again
"The will of the Tree of Worlds has been fulfilled, Aemon Targaryen, blessed be your glorious future," said the powerful being, at the same time that Aemon began to descend the obsidian stairs towards a stupefied Elle
"We need to talk, Chief Elle," said the young man, in a polite but firm voice, implying that it was not a request
But of an order
And Elle just nodded, curious about what happened in the Forge, something inside her telling her that Lord Stark's words would be quite interesting
And she was not wrong
Neither of them suspected that, at that moment, significant changes were happening in Wolf's Den, absolutely all the banners of the castle magically changed, leaving behind the Wolf of the Stark family and being replaced by a dragon unknown to these lands
But quite familiar to the young monarch
The Three-Headed Crimson Dragon
