Satine Kryze, Concordia, Mandalore System

"Be strong princess! The Kryze clan will be...” however, the words of Maylos, one of the oldest guards in his father's service, were silenced when he was shot in the head by Blaster, ending his life instantly

And although inside, Satine mourned the loss of someone she considered an honorary uncle, on the outside she did not break, she looked impassively at the savage mercenary of the Vizla clan, who had just executed a Mandalorian in cold blood and seemed ecstatic at such an act

"You're a fucking animal, like the rest of your disgusting and savage clan," Satine blurted out without any fear, full of fury

The rest of the mercenaries simply laughed, including the leader, the princess recognized her perfectly, she had seen her countless times in her father's palace, during the intense meetings between the clans

Talary Vizla, wife of Taurek Vizla, the bloodthirsty moron who was causing this disaster

"You're so predictable, Satine, did you really think the republic would answer your call for help? The only thing you did was make our search much shorter," said the woman

She was dressed in Beskar armor, silver and blue dominating her figure, with the characteristic jet pack on her back

The princess remained impassive

"The message was sent, the republic will send someone to stop this stupidity and condemn your cowardly imbecile husband," the princess snapped, knowing perfectly well that there was something that the Vizla detested

It was to be called cowards

Without any consideration, Talary gave a dry back hand to Satine, sending her to the ground, however, the princess did not give in, she did not make any kind of sound of pain

"My husband is no coward!" blurts out the altered woman, to the restlessness of her men

Smelling blood, Satine laughed under her breath and said

“No? So why did he ambush my father's diplomatic convoy on its way to Gaia Prime? Why didn't Taurek Vizla challenge Duke Adonai Kryze to a fight if it wasn't out of cowardice?” Satine snapped, and her words hurt more than any Blaster, if Talary's look of utter hatred was any indication.

Talary let out a hateful cry and drew his Blaster aiming directly at Satine's head, totally out of her mind

The young princess was not afraid at all, she simply looked impassively, but with a small smile of triumph, knowing that she was the winner of the fleeting encounter

Another of the soldiers, seeing that Talary was not in control of the situation, intervened by placing himself in front of her, protecting the princess

"The orders are clear, capture her," he said in a deep voice

The soldier's build was huge, easily two meters tall and muscular, his armor, unlike Talary's was designed to make him a living tank and his heavy assault Blaster reinforced that notion

Talary let out a cry of fury but holstered his weapon, as she walked away from Satine to cool her temper

"That was reckless, young princess, hilarious, but reckless," said the imposing man as he lifted Satine as if she were a simple twig

The Duke's daughter snorted and said

"I know, but you'll understand that, at this point, I care little about Talary's pride and ego and her husband's bad blood," Satine snapped, making the man laugh softly, taking out some handcuffs, waiting for Satine to cooperate, without any violence in between

The princess hesitated for a moment, until she gently raised her hands, understood her situation, and unlike the stupid Talary, this warrior treated her according to the Mandalorian code

Something that, apparently, the Vizla had completely forgotten in their crusade to preserve the values of Mandalore

"Your father is safe, by the way, he's a prisoner, but Taurek doesn't dare execute him, do it..." at that moment, Satine intervened

"It would make that, by the code of the Clans, the leadership of the Kryze Clan fall on my uncle Price, who is the General of the army of the most powerful man in the galaxy at this time, I am not stupid, warrior, I may not enjoy senseless violence, but I am a proud mandalorian" said Satine with a calm and firm tone,  making the warrior laugh again, evidently impressed

"Come on," said the man, pointing to the exit of the relay station from where she had sent the message, passing by the corpses of the soldiers of her clan

Satine just lowered her head and said a classic prayer from her people, she may not agree with many ideologies of the Mandalorians, but respect for the fallen was sacred

Even if the Vizla, conveniently, forget about that tradition

Leaving the shattered station and seeing the remains of her escort and the ship she used to leave Mandalore, Satine saw something on the horizon

A silver and blue transport was approaching

"Apparently the soldiers sent to hunt the Jedi have returned," said the warrior who was escorting her absently

"Jedi?" Satine asked with concern and hope

The warrior nodded and said

"Yes, apparently they were close when you sent your transmission, a pity that it didn't help them evade the anti-aircraft guns, if the ship is already here, I guess they weren't a considerable threat," said the warrior calmly and practically, without a hint of mockery in his voice

Satine expected the ship to land and apparently, the rest of the Mandalorians did too, so seeing that the ship did not brake gave the princess a bad feeling

And apparently, the rest of the mercenaries are the same

“What the hell is Sadai doing? Didn’t he see that we are waiting for her? Why doesn't she slow down the ship?” Talary asked arrogantly, while the Mandalorians looked at each other

"On the contrary, they see us perfectly" said the mercenary taking Satine and throwing her to the ground, covering them both behind a heavy container

And a second later, absolute chaos

The "Allied" ship opened fire indiscriminately on the mercenaries

And while the Beskar can stop blaster and even a lightsaber, it had nothing to do against the ship's heavy cannons

“GET DOWN!!” Talary shouted covering herself, at the same time as the first strike arrived, completely slaughtering five of her warriors

"SHOOT DOWN THAT SHIP!" she roared, as she began to fire towards the ship, which had turned around and was preparing to attack again

This time, all the Mandalorians were covered, however, the pilot had not targeted the mercenaries this time

But the two ships that were parked, destroying them in the process

"Damn," said one of the mercenaries, pointing his heavy precision rifle at the ship and firing

"It's useless, that transport has generation six deflector shields, imported from Kuat, nothing less than high-piercing artillery would damage it," said the imposing man who was still protecting Sabine

A second burst forced the mercenaries to take cover, and at that very moment, Satine watched as the ship stopped for an instant, and a lone figure leaped from inside

A familiar figure who had stolen the princess's breath several nights

Obi-Wan was here, Satine thought with relief

"Ladies and gentlemen, I must ask you to release Princess Satine," he said calmly, as he analyzed everything around him

Talary stepped out of cover with his helmet on, though his body language betrayed annoyance at the deaths of half of his men

“Who the hell are you? How did you get that ship?” Talary demands while targeting the jedi knight

The ship in question had been placed behind Obi-Wan leaving evidence that there was another person with him driving it

"Oh, this ship? I took it from some mercenaries who tormented some colleagues, my intention was to arrest them and take them to Coruscant, however, they were not cooperative," said Obi-Wan

Not letting Talary answer, Obi-Wan said

"I know the princess is here, I can feel her, release her, put down your weapons and turn yourself in, no one else has to get hurt," said the young Jedi knight with total calm and control of the situation

Talary laughed cynically and said

“What? Do you plan to lock us up and bring us before your Senate? Stop talking stupid things, the Emerald King tore apart the reputation of those stupid fools, they are more busy preventing their own planets from murdering them, do you think I'm afraid of the republic?” Talary said, the mockery and contempt more than evident in her voice

"Not at all," said Obi-Wan, surprising the mercenaries

"However, the republic should be the last of your worries, the transmission that brought me here came from Padme Amidala herself," Obi-Wan said with a smile, enjoying how the imposing warriors hesitated for an instant

That name had become as respected as it was infamous

Padme Amidala, Queen of Queens, Sovereign of Naboo and Consort of the Emerald King

And if she was aware, then...

"A suppression fleet is on its way, the Marauder himself, to assist Gaia Prime's allies, I'm sure General Price and Princess Bo will be more than happy to lead the campaign against the Vizla clan, with all the resources of the Emerald King under their command," said the young Jedi

"You're bluffing” Talary snapped, but a slight stutter gave away how anxious she really was

Obi-Wan just smiled calmly and said

"Am I? Maybe, or maybe not, do you have a way to check it?” the Young Jedi Challenge with a calm smile

And at that moment, Talary's communicator rang

"Lady Talary, readings from the periphery of the system, a corvette class ship, identifications match Gaia Prime ships, I ask for instructions," said the young officer on the other end of the line, distracting her and the rest of the mercenaries, forgetting about Obi-Wan's presence for a moment

Enough time for the young Jedi to act, aided by the Force, Satine could only hear Obi-Wan speak

“Confundus!”

The meaning of those words, Satine did not know, but the result was more than evident, the mercenaries took their heads absentmindedly, some fell to the ground, and even a couple pointed their blasters at each other, unknown for an instant

And then, Obi-Wan spoke again

“Fulguris!!”

"Shit," said the warrior who guarded her, seeing how from Obi-Wan's hands torrents of lightning emerged voraciously and quickly moved among everything that was electrically conductive

Including the Mandalorians in their more than vulnerable armor

In an instant, the terrifying lightning bolts jumped from body to body, until all the remaining warriors, excluding the soldier protecting Satine, were receiving a torrent of electricity, all screaming in agony

Although, to Satine's relief, Obi's face remained solemn, it was evident that he found no pleasure in this act, something that reassured her

Moments later, all the soldiers fell to the ground, all trembling and with painful spasms, but totally defenseless and defeated by the terrifying technique of Obi-Wan, who, calmly began to walk towards where Satine was

"Who the hell is that guy?" said the worried soldier, as he quickly removed Satine's handcuffs

Smugly, the princess said

“Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi” at the same time that the aforementioned Jedi arrived at her location, his look reflected relief at finding her safe and sound, and something else that made Satine shudder

Obi-Wan looked at the soldier, waiting for his next move, as the ship landed behind and a blonde woman in robes similar to Obi-Wan's descended with a frown, looking with utter contempt at the defeated enemies

“Your decision?” Obi-Wan asked, observing how this warrior, unlike the rest, had no weapon and therefore, did not represent a threat

“After that show? Give me a fucking cell, I'm not going to suffer that terrifying electric attack," said the man as he raised his hands and Satine walked towards Obi-Wan, giving him a big hug

Obi-Wan returned the gesture, though he kept his gaze on the warrior

"What happened Satine?" asked the young knight, looking at her with concern

Satine felt all the emotions of the last few days welling up, she wanted to cry, for all the deaths, her father's soldiers, dead, giving his life for her, all this destruction and hatred

However, she remained strong, she would not show weakness to anyone

"It's a long story, but I'm glad to see you Obi," Satine said with a smile, at the same time that Obi-Wan's communicator began to ring

"What's going on?" asked Satine, thinking the worst

"A transmission, R4 sends it to me from my ship and it comes from the edge of the system"

Without saying a word, Obi-Wan accepted the broadcast, showing the hologram of a beautiful and sensual Twi'lek, clad in exquisite armor with a cape, making her look beautiful, elegant, and terrifying

"Knight Kenobi, it's nice to see you safe and sound, everything in order?" asked the beautiful woman with a tone of fraternity, to Satine's relief

Obi nodded and said

"Everything is in order Aayla, however, I have bad news, Master Galia has died, her ship and that of Padawan Tachi were intercepted when they answered the call for help," Obi-Wan said solemnly

The Twi'lek in the hologram lowered her head as a sign of respect and said

"I understand, Master Galia is one with the Force now, I will report to the temple, I am aboard the corvette "Light of the Past" accompanied by a full battalion of black cloaks, we destroy a small station and remain incognito, do you have any plans or useful information?”

Obi-Wan nodded and said

"Yes, information recovered from the mercenary ship, as well as some prisoners, send me the coordinates and I will move there as fast as you can, Princess Satine is with us"

The Twi'lek nodded with a smile and said

"Excellent, I'm sure Princess Satine's safety will be great news for General Price and Princess Bo," said the aforementioned Aayla

"Harold received the distress signal and is coming here, he will arrive in forty-eight hours with a fleet to assault Concordia and rescue the King, come to the ship as soon as you can, let the Force be with you," said Aayla, before cutting off communications

Just as a woman was walking towards them

"We have to go Obi," said who Satine sensed was Padawan Tachi, taking Obi-Wan's arm in a gesture of intimacy that put a frown on Satine's face

Obi-Wan, totally ignorant of the territorial struggle over his body, simply nodded and said

"You're right, help the princess in obtaining everything that is useful, as well as the bodies of her bodyguards, I'll take care of the prisoners," said the young knight, while the warrior who surrendered began to walk towards the ship and Obi-Wan levitated the bodies of the mercenaries

Leaving Princess Satine and Padawan Tachi alone, they looked at each other impassively, but both recognized a rival when they saw her

Without saying a word, they both began to walk towards the station

"So, since when do you know Obi?" asked Ciri in a calm, too calm tone

Evidently artificial, Satine was able to identify him instantly

"Oh, we met on Naboo, he was my escort during our visit, very considerate, gentlemanly and..."

"And very handsome," Ciri said casually, silencing Satine

And smelling blood in the water, the Padawan continued

“He always has been, we've known each other since we were little, you know? We used to be together all the time in the temple, we even shared our first kiss together” Siri said "casually"

However, Satine had plenty of experience in hidden messages and double meanings

“Curious, I understood that the Jedi were forbidden to have relationships, it was a change on the code?” Satine asked with false innocence 

Siri just frowned, but didn't respond, just kept walking until they reached the communications station, where the rest of the Kryze soldiers were dead

Siri lowered her head and gave a quick prayer, an act that Satine thanked with a silent look

"Come on, Obi is waiting for us and the faster we get to the "light of the past" the faster we can save your father," Siri said

And the faster you can go with Obi-Wan, Satine thought, burning with jealousy

Alas, it was not the time or place for carnal attacks, she would talk to Obi-Wan another time

After all, Satine Kryze was just as stubborn as her younger sister, as much as she hated such a comparison

Taurek Vizla, Moon of Concordia, Mandalore System

"The shipment is done, my apprentice, Darth Solthis will supervise the delivery, she is arriving to the system as we speak,” said his benefactor

Oh Taurek had no illusions, this "Darth Tyrannus" used him as much as Taurek used him, but at least for now, it was the best thing for Mandalore

"Are you sure that this thing... Will do what you promised?” asked the Mandalorian, not sure about the "gift" that the human in front of him had sent

"It will, stay alert, Gaia Prime's troops are approaching Mandalore, prepare accordingly" and with those last words, the transmission cut off

Taurek inhaled hard and left the broadcast room, finding his son, who was waiting for him with concern

"What's going on?" asked Taurek calmly, noticing the young man's anxiety

He inhaled hard to calm himself down and said

"Mother does not answer her communicator, we lost contact with the group that went to confirm the death of the Jedi, and I have the report of the anti-aircraft gun, a third fighter managed to evade them and land," his son reported with discipline, although with obvious concern for his mother

Taurek put his hand on Pre's shoulder and said in a fatherly manner

"Your mother is strong, she'll be fine, now let's go, we have to receive a ship," Taurek ordered, starting to walk with Pre behind

"Has Adonai spoken?" he asked his son

Pre shook his head and replied

"No, he resist everything with an iron will, no method has worked," Pre said with a frown

Taurek just nodded in pleasure

"Adonai is a Mandalorian son, a skilled warrior, although not such a good politician, I respect him as a warrior, but the well-being of Mandalore is much more important," Taurek said with determination, arriving at the landing platform just as a stealth ship landed

After several seconds of waiting, a zeltron that was walking practically naked, but radiating terrifying power was present, behind her, some droids carried a huge metal tank, evidently containing the "surprise" that Plagueis had mentioned

"Time to hunt," Taurek said to himself

Poor Taurek, his benefactor had sent him a beast, an extermination machine, not to mention that he himself would become the prey of what he planned to release into his moon
