"Hurry up brats," said the beautiful witch, as she waved her wand elegantly, causing the flames of a building to disappear in the blink of an eye, allowing the trapped people to escape

The five boys obeyed, Connor moved the cars blocking the entrance to the place, while the rest helped the injured as fast as they could

Healing automatons repaired wounds, lacerations, fractures, and contusions quickly, saving countless lives in the process

"Those things are incredible," Robin said, staring at a pair of huge automatons lifting the wreckage of a huge truck

"They are admirable war machines, I had the pleasure of seeing them in combat in the defense of Atlantis," said Kaldur, who had just left a couple of children with the healers

"I wonder if they'll withstand one of my hits" Connor said, looking at his fists and then at one of the mighty colossi

At those words, Tonks looked at them sternly and said

"No one will hit anything, we're almost done, a couple of blocks and the city will be as good as new," Tonks said with a sigh, while trying to ignore the constant looks and excited sighs

The battle witch simply ignored them and waved her wand again, a sleek and stylized move, causing the burning building to begin to fully repair itself

The civilians began to whisper with obvious emotion, the faces of happiness and relief were more than evident

Tonks ended the spell with a horizontal wave of her wand, nodding to herself after a job well done

"I won't get tired of seeing you do that, ma’am" Robin said, he had seen the spell more than a dozen times and was still surprised as the first time

Tonks smiled warmly and ruffled the young wonder with amusement and affection

They were annoying and loud, but they had a good heart and a willingness to help, qualities that were not common in the world

"Well, we're almost done, now we just must..." Tonks began, however, Connor interrupted her with some brusqueness

"Hush!" said the young Kryptonian, causing Tonks to raise an eyebrow at the brave and stupid act

"Connor's ear is right, an unidentified special ship is heading towards the city, followed by an unknown alien fleet, I let the boys and you be in charge of evacuating and intercepting the ship, containment protocol one, I will take control of the bastion until further notice, I will take care of intercepting the enemy fleet in orbit" Harry said, making Tonks totally serious at once

"Got it Harry, good Hunt" said the witch, at the same time that, to the surprise and concern of all the civilians, all the automatons began to fly back towards the bastion

"Shit," Robin said, staring up at the sky, where the runes and magic of the bastion changed color from green to a blood-red color, glowing with enormous power

"Aqua Bracchium Maxima," Tonks shouted, channeling her magic into her wand, enhanced by the potion's effect

The young heroes watched in amazement as a sphere of water appeared in front of the wand, as it quickly took the form of a huge water hand, which shone with magical power

"Shit," Connor said, while Wally Roy nodded, however, Kaldur watched the construct with obvious interest

"A more than interesting technique My Lady" said the Atlantean with respect in his voice

Tonks simply nodded and without saying anything, ordered the hand to launch itself towards the ship, with the sole aim of cooling it quickly

The people around watched hopefully as the impressive magical creation was launched towards the ship, the water made contact with the fiery surface, generating a dense cloud of steam, but fulfilling its objective

"It seems to work, the fuselage of the ship is no longer white hot," said Roy, who was watching the event with a small spyglass

"But it's still traveling at high speed, it's close to the city," Robin said with concern

But Tonks wasn't listening, she was already preparing her next spell

"Connor, I hope you know how to catch, I trust you," said the sorceress

"What?" asked the surprised young man, but Tonks didn't answer, she simply pointed at the object and channeled her will for her next spell

“Aresto Momentum”

The spell hit the ship, making it shudder and, little by little, reducing its speed

“It works; it works!!” Wally said, while shouts of excitement and support for Tonks were getting louder and louder

The ship slowed down greatly, but Tonks' resistance was beginning to falter

"Connor, your turn," she said with difficulty, feeling the momentary effect of the pill starts to leaving her body

The Kryptonian nodded determinedly, as he ran toward the impact site

Tonks' spell had done much of the work, and the sorceress was trusting him for this, Tonks was the second person who trusted him and he would not disappoint her

“READY!” he screamed, at the same time that he opened his arms and received the impact of the ship

The Kryptonian force was enough to stop the ship, however, the fuselage was shattered, and the force dragged Connor several meters, until he simply stopped

All the civilians around began screaming and cheering for Tonks and Connor, and as the young Kryptonian left the ship on the ground, Tonks fell to her knees exhausted

"My lady!" Kaldur said with alarm, as he ran to help Tonks

"I'm fine, just exhausted," said the sorceress, as she sat on the floor, while Roy and Dick looked at her with concern

However, the words of the group died on their lips when they heard a loud bang, coming from inside the ship

Such an act alarmed the whole group, and upon hearing it again, the situation was evident

Whatever was on the ship, it was trying to get out

"Get ready," Robin said, trying to take control of the situation, while Tonks recovered

However, this did not have the desired effect

Roy frowned at him and said

"Hey, Lady Tonks is in charge, why do you give the orders?" said the annoyed redhead

“Speedy is right, who made you the leader Robin?” Wally asked with a frown

Robin looked at them angrily and prepared to respond, but just then

"Perfect, then let's get ready to receive our guests," said the king, sitting in the command chair of the bastion, moving his hands quickly, while the league looked at him curiously

“Are you sure you can deal with this?” Superman asked cautiously, not wishing to offend his new ally and a possible future member of the league

"Yes, don't worry, it's not the first time I've dealt with aliens, in fact, it's for that reason that I adapted the bastions to operate in space," confessed Harrison, totally focused on the last details

"It's my turn," said the sorcerer supreme

"Bastion, aim the cannons at the fleet, half power," Harry ordered, while the shields received another attack from the enemy fleet

“What spell do you want to use your grace?” said the mechanical voice

"Disruption spell in the first wave to fry their shields and finish off their pathetic float with a piercing spell in the second," ordered the sorcerer supreme with all the calmness in the world

And a second later, the entire bastion shook

Powerful arcane cannons emerge from the station, at least two dozen and all of them roared at the same time, while a full wave of spells shot out towards the enemy fleet

The attack moved at such a high speed that none of the enemy ships were able to react in time, all the spells hit, the disruption attack was so powerful that the small ships were left totally useless at his mercy, while the medium and large ships tried to move were left without shields, but still with the ability to move

"Incredible, I see that the rune cannon project was a success" Diana said with a smile, while the cannons prepared the second wave, the enemy fleet was totally disorganized, and breaking formation

Harry smiled matter-of-factly, as if he wasn't seconds away from exterminating an enemy fleet, and said

“Yes! "Well, now we only have one last thing to do," said the sorcerer supreme, looking down at Earth

It was time to investigate the crashed ship and find out who the illustrious and annoying visitors were

"Bastion, I'll go down to Earth again, I'll take care of collecting the remains of the fleet, they'll be useful to us," Harry said, as he freed himself from his armor, returning to his elegant and classic trench coat

And at that moment...

"Transmission from Earth, enforcer Nymphadora Tonks," said the bastion, showing the image not of his beautiful and seductive lover, but that of the Bat brat

“Robin: What's going on?” Batman asked, stepping forward when he saw that it was his protégé
