Is it bad I want Harry's people to have some Halo tech, while at first glance it seems garbage in comparison but not only would the covenant steam role mass effect but unsc once they got Spartans started holding the lines on the ground and once they got ship shields they started winning space battles. I'd rather humanity to have the first encounter war and instead of surrendering, the turians run for their lives in terror.

Yeah, but first it will be the conflict with the Kree, the first hint of the skrulls and then, the alliance with Xandar

That was why UNSC tech threw me off, the Council would squish a one world system with UNSC tech in a week of fighting I go 1-2 hundred years as that is humanity in the Mass Effect Universe, Halo is 500 years, but that breaks down to 300 years colonizing Sol and 200 years of FTL Colonization. But Humanity needs Hundreds of Colony Worlds, Massive Orbital Dockyards where Space ships are built and the Huge fleets to go alongside it.
