Lenna Luthor, Financial District – Metropolis.
“So, you have no idea what happened?” Lenna asked in disbelief, raising an eyebrow as she looked at Superman.
The now second most powerful man on the planet scratched the back of his head as he replied.
“Ummm, for a large part of the fight I was… indisposed, Miss Luthor. I… I couldn’t tell you exactly what happened in the tower,” said the superhero honestly.
“But I can,” said a beautiful woman, walking toward them with elegance and complete control of the situation.
She was dressed in armor similar in design to that of the Supreme Sorcerer, fitting her body like a second skin. Her face was uncovered, revealing short, straight pink hair and gray eyes that contrasted exquisitely. Everything about her face screamed nobility—high cheekbones and almost perfectly symmetrical features.
The now owner of LuthorCorp looked at the unknown woman.
“I’m afraid we don’t know each other. I’m Lenna Luthor—who do I have the pleasure of speaking with?” Lenna asked, focusing all her attention on the beautiful woman.
“Commander Tonks of the Red Furies of New Camelot and Shipmaster of the Arcane Bastion ‘Fury of Circe,’” said the woman, inclining her head respectfully.
Lenna nodded and simply waited.
“Your late brother… was connected to members of a terrorist group hostile to New Camelot known as The Light, and he was involved in activities that were more than questionable,” said Commander Tonks bluntly.
Too blunt, Lenna thought with amusement, noticing Superman frown and look at the woman with disapproval.
“Oh well, what a shame. I’ll take care of the corresponding paperwork,” Lenna said indifferently, surprising Superman and making the commander raise an eyebrow with curiosity.
“Ummm… Miss Luthor, I’m sorry about your brother. You have my condolences,” said the Man of Steel.
Lenna looked at him for a few seconds, analyzing the cousin of her girlfriend, before rolling her eyes and replying.
“I appreciate your words, Superman, but let’s be completely honest—Lex was a terrible person. Egocentric, narcissistic, with a god complex, who couldn’t handle it when real gods appeared in the world. His death is the consequence of his own actions,” Lenna said bluntly.
Tonks looked at her with realization before nodding slowly, while Superman stared at her in shock, as if he couldn’t believe what he had just heard.
Adorable, Lenna thought with amusement.
“Did you think I would cry over my brother, Superman? That you would bring me news of his death and I would break down in tears?” she asked, amused at the Kryptonian’s stunned expression.
Superman opened and closed his mouth without saying a word.
Lenna rolled her eyes, this time with good-natured exasperation, before sighing and continuing.
“I’ll summarize my entire relationship with my brother for you, Superman. I have cancer—a very aggressive one. My brother, the great genius Lex Luthor, found the cure and eliminated it… just to prove that he could. Only to return the cancer to my body days later,” Lenna said with an acidic tone.
Superman looked at her in absolute horror while the commander made a clear expression of disgust.
“So forgive me if I don’t feel any remorse that that pathetic bastard is dead. Though I’m not surprised—Lex probably thought the Supreme Sorcerer would be just as naive as you, and that assumption cost him dearly,” Lenna added with cold amusement.
Superman simply sighed and replied.
“Harry Potter is not a man who plays games, that much is true,” Superman admitted.
At the same time, the commander stepped closer to Lenna, her expression now more complex.
“I can’t promise anything, but I can speak with my king. New Camelot eradicated all forms of cancer and several congenital diseases a few years ago… perhaps they can help you,” said the commander.
Both Lenna and Superman were visibly surprised.
“Oh? That sounds… very interesting,” Miss Luthor said, gently stroking her chin with clear interest.
“New Camelot has a cure for cancer? Why hasn’t anyone said anything?” Superman asked, incredulous and with a hint of reproach.
The commander simply looked at him with a raised eyebrow and replied sharply.
“Because when my king extended a hand for mutual cooperation with the muggle governments of the world, he received threats, ultimatums, and idiotic demands,” Tonks said, silencing Superman instantly and making him blush slightly.
“Oh,” was all he managed to say.
But Lenna paid him no mind. She stepped closer to the commander, her full attention fixed on her.
“If that’s true, I’d be very interested in a meeting with the Supreme Sorcerer. Something casual—an elegant dinner, perhaps. We might be able to reach an agreement… or something more interesting,” said the new owner of the Luthor empire, her tone seductive and feminine.
There was calculation beneath the charm—this was not mere flirtation, but negotiation wrapped in silk.
Tonks blushed slightly at the implication.
“I will speak with the Supreme Sorcerer about your proposal… and we’ll also see what can be done regarding… that,” she said, gesturing toward the damaged tower.
Lenna purred softly in satisfaction.
“Mmmm… I like the sound of that.”
She pulled out a card from her suit pocket and handed it to Tonks.
“A direct line to me. Have your Supreme Sorcerer call me—I’d like to speak with him personally and reach an agreement regarding material damages,” Lenna said.
Tonks took the card silently and nodded.
Lenna turned back to Superman.
“Well, if you’ll excuse me, I have much to do. I’ll be expecting that call, Commander Tonks… something tells me we’ll be very useful to each other.”
With that, Lenna inclined her head slightly and returned to the Sparrow.
The businesswoman boarded elegantly, moving directly toward the beautiful figure of her beloved girlfriend.
“Everything in order?” Kara asked, manipulating a holographic terminal inside the vehicle.
“Everything in order, my dear,” Lenna said as she sat in front of the blonde, at the same time that the vehicle lifted into the air and left the city. The mission had been accomplished.
They had confirmation that Lex was finally dead.
Bless the Supreme Sorcerer, Lenna thought.
“I met your cousin, by the way. Handsome man… but extremely gullible,” Lenna said as she poured two glasses of champagne, handing one to a focused Kara, who took it automatically.
“He’s identical to my uncle, at least physically. I don’t know if he inherited his brilliant mind,” her girlfriend said, taking a sip without losing focus.
Lenna simply rolled her eyes.
“He didn’t look like an alien genius to me—too gullible to be a man of science, too optimistic,” Lenna said as they left the city behind, heading toward their private corner of the world.
“Uncle Jor-El was also a skilled warrior, and like Clark, he was an optimist. That caused him many problems on Krypton… but seeing Kal alive, grown, and thriving… perhaps my uncle’s hope wasn’t as foolish as the council believed,” Kara said distractedly, finishing her champagne in one gulp and returning to her task.
Lenna raised an eyebrow.
“You just drank a fifty-thousand-dollar champagne like it was water, my love. You should learn to enjoy it,” Lenna said with a sigh and mock disappointment, slowly sliding her leg over Kara’s.
Her intentions were more than clear.
Lex’s death had left her in the mood to celebrate.
Kara paused her work for a moment, lifting her gaze toward Lenna with surprise that quickly turned into amusement.
“Oh… I see. Can’t you wait until we get home?” Kara asked, setting her device aside and taking Lenna’s foot, removing her twenty-thousand-dollar shoe and beginning to massage it slowly, deliberately, drawing a deep sigh from Lenna.
“That useless fool is dead, and with him, our biggest problems. I need to quietly remove a few shareholders, but nothing truly concerning. I’ll have full control of LexCorp in a couple of months… there’s much to celebrate—”
Kara simply rolled her eyes with a soft smile as her hands began to trail sensually along Lenna’s leg.
“Have you thought about what I told you? About making contact with your cousin?” Lenna asked curiously, cursing inwardly as Kara’s hands stopped.
The uncomfortable silence lasted several seconds… until Kara slowly resumed her touch.
“I have, but… I feel that when I see Kal-El face to face, a lot of bottled emotions will surface. It’s not something to be taken lightly,” confessed the beautiful short-haired blonde, her hand now sliding higher along Lenna’s thigh.
Lenna moaned softly as Kara’s touch reached a sensitive point, her legs parting instinctively, the plea obvious in her body language.
Kara used her strength and speed, lifting Lenna effortlessly and placing her on her lap, her hands now massaging her thighs and hips while her lips traced slow, sensual paths along Lenna’s neck.
“Ohhh yes, my love… just like that…” Lenna gasped, closing her eyes and losing herself in the sensation.
“One more important thing… ohhh… New Camelot claims to have a cure for… what you know,” Lenna said, her voice broken by pleasure.
At those words, Kara froze instantly, looking at Lenna with surprise… and hope.
“Then… our alliance with New Camelot has become a priority,” the Kryptonian stated, returning to attack Lenna’s neck.
“I’ve also been thinking… he would be the perfect candidate for Operation Legacy,” Lenna added carefully, not wanting to unsettle Kara.
But apparently, she had nothing to worry about.
“Oh, my dear, I’ve seen the videos of the Supreme Sorcerer. If you want him to fuck both of us, you don’t need to invent complicated projects and nonsense,” Kara said with amusement, laughing as she saw Lenna blush.
“It’s not that. An heir is important, and I believe his privileged genes would be perfect for our future daughters. We… AHHHHG—”
Lenna’s words died in her mouth as Kara’s lips bit down on one of her nipples.
“We’ll talk about that on the island. But right now… I’m thirsty for you, my love. And as you said… we have much to celebrate,” Kara said, grabbing Lenna’s expensive suit and tearing it apart effortlessly, exposing her skin.
Desire and strategy blurred into one—pleasure becoming just another extension of power and ambition.
The journey back to Luthor Island was filled with pleasure and moans, the celebration of two powerful women indulging without restraint.
A new opportunity had arrived for both of them…
And they intended to seize it completely.
Vandal Savage, Unknown Location.
“You’re late,” said Vandal, watching as a wounded Deathstroke entered the room with difficulty.
“Blame that damn Bleak brat, the amulet he gave me left me several meters in the air when I escaped from the Tower,” said the mercenary, taking a seat to recover.
Vandal looked at him impassively on the outside, but internally he was… concerned.
“So it’s official, Luthor is dead?” asked the leader of The Light.
Deathstroke nodded.
“Yes, New Camelot doesn’t play games, that’s for sure. Ultraman is gone, Black Adam is dead, and Luthor was completely incinerated by that damn bastion” said Slade, his tone filled with anger, though Vandal could detect something beneath it.
Concern.
“New Camelot’s intervention cost us Luthor… but it gave us a reason to turn governments against Harry Potter. Once you recover, contact Baazovi and Queen Bee. Have them start stirring the hornet’s nest, along with a smear campaign against the Supreme Sorcerer,” Vandal ordered.
Deathstroke simply nodded, still fatigued from nearly dying.
“Even so, New Camelot’s resources seem far more extensive than ours. We need intelligence… something we can use,” said Deathstroke.
Vandal knew the mercenary was right.
But that was precisely the problem.
They didn’t truly know the full scope of New Camelot, and Harold Potter’s totalitarian regime made it nearly impossible to infiltrate the city.
They were completely blind.
“What matters is buying time for the boy Bleak. That’s all that matters,” Vandal said, making Deathstroke snort in annoyance as he stood up.
“Of course… everything revolves around that kid. Any news on Ra’s al Ghul?” he asked.
Vandal shook his head.
It was as if the Demon’s Head had vanished from the face of the Earth.
“I’m still working on that, but we have nothing for now,” said Vandal.
“I’m going to rest. I’ll speak with Baazovi and Queen Bee in a few hours. We’ll figure something out… just make sure the kid finishes his mission as soon as possible,” Deathstroke snapped, clearly irritated, before leaving Vandal alone.
Truth be told… he wasn’t truly worried.
Even if the Supreme Sorcerer eventually found them, Vandal was immortal.
And that was something not even the Supreme Sorcerer could take from him.
Or so he believed.
Poor Vandal.
He was unaware that there were fates far worse than death…
And that, for the first time in centuries, he was no longer the most dangerous being in the shadows.
And soon…
He would find out.
