Art vs Artist 2021 + Yearly Recap! (Patreon)

Howdy Patrons! You know I'm a sucker for recaps, so I'm sure some of you were expecting this update post!

It wasn't until I started writing this post that I realized how many things happened this year in my work and personal life. I feel like I've matured a lot as a person and business owner due to the highs and lows 2021 threw my way. Without further ado, here's a list of this year's more memorable events!

Personal stuff:

Acquired a CPAP machine for my sleep apnea

Diagnosed with ADHD

Survived a week-long Texas freeze that wrecked the state’s power grid

Got vaccinated for COVID-19

Hercules diagnosed with a degenerative eye condition

Apartment flooded twice

Lost a close friend to cancer

Turned 30

Somehow made it through the year in one piece!

Art stuff:

Celebrated 8 years of making comics online

Left my part-time job to work full-time on comics and art

Moved my online shop to Etsy

Ran my first Kickstarter campaign

Brought back the yearly Halloween shirt tradition

Prepped and packed 6k pins for KS fulfillment

Became a Patreon Ambassador

Made comics and art I’m very proud of!
