That’s life telling you to be selfish, Pen. You deserve this plenty. 😭🩷

Tabu B. Xavier

Pen did so good at pulling away. Well accomplished.🥰

TakenDreams

Please put his head in your lap please put his head in your lap please put

Jykinturah

There is something precious about having someone fall asleep against you hehe

Alex

Indy blushing 🥰 I hope next page will be them lying on the sofa, snuggled up together 🥺

Khaotick

I love blushing Indy.

Rakky

i just waiting every Wednesday to cheer myself up with a great comic every time. I look forward to the new part every week and can't wait for more!

Nabbitman

Indy just peck him on the cheek already!

Cosmic

This is the most invested I've ever been into a comic I swear. I'm so excited to see where this goes 😭

Volt875

Oh that fifth panel. My poor wittle heart can’t take it. So cute!

winterz

A tremendous effort from Pen here, *almost* had it

Bread Boy

Eager for the 1 2 punch of hangover followed by "oh shit I just fell asleep at my crushes house" from Pen

Zene_Fox

*Dies of cute overload*

tƵaŧsuma

I think I can hear Indy's heart beating from here - that boy has a stomach of butterflies for sure 🧡

Klondike

real talk do you redraw the three wolf moon on his shirt in every panel or do you just overlay a photo lol

Falco

I drew the flat graphic on a separate transparent png file, then paste it in and use the transform and warp tools to nudge it around to be the right shape and scale, then erase any bits outside of the shirt. After doing it about a hundred times so far it's not even that maddeningly tedious anymore! lol

Keftense

He aint about to "politely ask him to sit up"...aint no way. Indi about to make Pen more comfortable, grab a blanket and sleep on the couch with Pen, just to keep him comfortable. That's how Indi is...and I cant wait to see some variant of this lol

Velkiel

And that penultimate (very funny word in english, strangely fitting haha) frame is the look of a coyote starting to fall in love with lil pen! he's cooked ! who would resist?

Klondike

would you ever consider posting like a time lapse of a comic page? i’m so curious to know the step by step process of how you get from blank canvas to beautiful masterpiece

ashbat

I absolutely love the little blue spec in Indy's eyes. Your & Maui's character design & details are next level 💙

Deus Umbra (Shadow)

Are you going to do a book with all the chapters? I know I would love a copy!

Thruster_Check

Well, that was quick! Looks like Pen will wind up in Indy's lap anyway. Gravity always wins.

Thruster_Check

I would order a copy INSTANTLY! Maybe two, bc I know I'd wear one out pretty quickly, lol!

Thruster_Check

Yep. Breaking this up to drive him back to the dorm would seem almost criminal. Now it's, put the guitar aside and drape that arm over the little guy and both sleep in peace and bliss.

Falco

It's definitely in the cards, I think a couple more chapters need to be finished before we have enough pages for a printed volume but I have been looking into it 👀

Falco

Awh thank you! I will pass along compliments to the chef ❤️

Falco

Unfortunately I don't have timelapse data for any of the current pages since that's a feature you need to manually enable on clip studio paint 😭 I will note down to do this next time a page comes up that seems like it'd be interesting to watch!

Daniel Pacheco Browning

I’m sorry, I have to ask to confirm, is Indy blushing in these pannels, because I don’t believe he has ever blushed in any previous ones?

Thruster_Check

I can't help noticing something about the way these two relate to each other physically: it's like they both grew up being taught not to touch another person without their permission. The first two panels show that perfectly, a kind of formal politeness between host and house-guest. Up until now it's been pretty consistent, too, and I predict that when Pen wakes up sprawled on Indy (or not), the first thing he'll do is apologize.

Falco

Yes indeed! He doesn't blush as easily as Pen hahah

Thruster_Check

Aaaand, it only occurred to me a couple hours ago that this behavior might be widespread in a society with pred and prey species intermingled.

Thruster_Check

No way. Pen will wake up to the smell of fresh coffee and/or his phone buzzing with a text from Rosa: WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU, WE HAVE A CHEMISTRY EXAM TO STUDY FOR AND IF YOU'RE DEAD I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU. With or without Indy, Pen will wake up on the couch bc it's the perfect size for him.

Onzi

I had to go and check lol, that’s crazy to me that you saw the little bit of blue in big dawgs eyes! (Big props 👏)

B

I'M BACK
