electric chair dude sound like dio but... "subdued" voice direction I guess. It sounds more obvious when he takes the helm off, but I can see(hear) how y'all would think its Kenjiro at first. Never watched an ep of Baki myself,but watched full fights here and there + spoiled on current events in the manga, no context tho 💀 I might go back and watch the 90's animated series cuz that one looks interesting too

Ah damn shame to start with season 3, the first season of netflix baki is the 3rd season of the overall anime after the dope baki the grappler anime 2 seasons from the 2000s

The show from the early 2000's was the original two seasons. Highly suggest watching it first. It greatly amplifies the Netflix stuff.

I always advertise Baki as like "Street Fighter the anime" hands anywhere and everywhere. It's like Jojo without stands. Now it's time for Musical's factoid corner (Stoned edition): -Baki's creator, Keisuke Itagaki, did a one shot auto-biographical manga where at the end he literally turned into a giant penis (Not joking). Later I found out that his daughter's only public face was a fursona...a chicken fursona. Which lead me to the ultimate realization. They are a family of cocks. A cockucopia, if you will! The 2001 anime is called Baki the grappler then the 2018 is just Baki and then baki's sequel series is called Baki hanma. The Xbox naming scheme of anime

It's how I first watched the series, this one, then the old stuff, then the following seasons. It doesn't take too much away from it all, let's be real here, the story is not the primary draw for the series

It takes away because the original series is significantly better written and fights are actually fully animated besides colored speed lines with 10 minute explanations. Its far better then the later series and it makes no sense to start at the worst season in the show with the first 2018 baki season then go back to the great first series and solid later series. Its like watching clone wars in release order just because
