Kuze is still holding back. On the internet people keep comparing him to Ayanokoji because they do have similar qualities. Smart, logical, manipulative, can play piano, and can fight and played everyone like a fiddle. Lets be lucky, Kuze wasn't in the white room.

Way I see it about the Mom. Kuze's family is very important, we don;t exactly know why, wealthy clearly, important name, blabla. Kyze was supposed to next head since he was a prodigy. The family aka Grandfather forced that on Kuze. The Mom didn;t like seeing her only son have this forced on her so everytime she see him trying harder and harder it hurt's her inside more and more to the point she disconnects from him completely. That leads to Kuze leaving with his fatehr and now the awkwardness hatred between them.
