Now that you’re watching Gintama again I can finally ask, what was icepack time?

reanimated

Wait, why couldn't you ask before lmao? On the old cameras we used to use, they would overheat, so we had to use ice packs to keep them cool after about 45 minutes or so of recording.

BZD

I just remembered about it recently and had been wondering. I was going to ask at some point soon. But I figured this would be a great occasion to finally learn. And I’m glad I did finally ask. I honestly thought that was some sort of inside joke about a snack break or something.

BZD

But nothing was stopping me. Except my iron willpower.

It's apparently a thing that if you are STILL a virgin by 30 years old......you get magical powers and become a wizard/witch, lol

Yesss, back at it again with the crazy antics of Gintoki and company! Didn't know y'all were gonna pick this up. 😃 10:56 - Also, that reference is Kinpachi sensei, who is actually the base for Ginpachi-sensei. He's a character from a Japanese television drama from 1979 called Mr. Kinpachi of Class 3-B. He's put in charge of an unruly classroom of 9th graders. Takeda Tetsuya is the actor that plays him. As you can see, the character and the actor are well-known and are often parodied and imitated. I've never even watched Mr. Kinpachi of Class3-B before but I know the reference because that's how often he's brought up Japanese media!

im very impressed that the va's sound pretty much the same as the og series after all these years

gojulas 200

4;51 they made the justaway doll have its own desk as if its like plank from ed eddn eddy, treating it as a character

gojulas 200

For the characters who died in the gintama og series , they most likely alive in the ginpachi sensei series since its in a different continuity since we see takasugi himself in the opening.

Daisuke_Takahiro

I remember when I asked about that in the Discord and I got the dumbest answers till I asked you directly Sherm!😅

Daisuke_Takahiro

it feels like we never left doesn't it! This is the anime that I was most looking forward to this season no cap! Laughing till the tears come is reserved for Grand Blue Dreaming and Gintama. No other comedy anime deserves it more!😎 That OP at the end gave me such hope to see everyone that passed on bravely fighting for their future. Also if you missed it, check out the trailer for this cause if you think the Dragon Ball Z reference was hilarious you have to see the Spy x Family and Jujutsu Kaisen one!😂

Sherm just to let you know this episode is not in the collections
