Here is what I've personally seen/understood from the mural (I apologize as it's much longer than I thought it would be, but I hope it helps in enlightening you based only on how far this episode goes (chapter 1138 in the manga). I'm making three separate comments to make it digestible: (right side of the Adam tree in the middle - as written in the manga): "THE FIRST WORLD: The earth is engulfed in flame, and the hearts of men burn with desire. They reach for the forbidden star. From whispered prayers, the sun god rose, beckoned by the enslaved. The god of the land was enraged. With a serpent of fire, they cast the world into ruin. Darkness fell. Death reigned. They would never meet again." Let's break this down: Parallelling the mural with sentences 1-2: Looks to me like slaves going down some kind of elevator that leads into the flames. They seem to be bringing back tiny suns in their hands. That immediately made me think of the Mother Flame. We know Vegapunk recreated it as a limitless energy source and that it was likely used to destroy Lulusia. I'm wondering if the mural is showing an ancient version of that same power, making the "forbidden star" literally some primordial form of the Mother Flame. Parallelling the mural with sentence 3: The line about whispered prayers reminded me of Vegapunk's theory on how devil fruits are born from wishes. The sun god rising is probably the first appearance of Nika trying to liberate the enslaved, but ultimately failing to. - Also the factory type buildings + the bridge looking thing with the slaves carrying tiny sunsreminds me of the pre-timeskip arc with Robin ending up on an island (Tequila Wolf) basically made of slaves who had spent centuries building a bridge for reasons unknown. It was a long ass bridge too, almost like in anticipation for what we know today, which is that the sea levels are rising and threatening to sink the world into the ocean - You mentionning Imu riding the elephant reminded me of the Zou arc, with the humoungous elephant being punished for betraying Joyboy. You might be on to something.

(left side of the Adam tree in the middle - as written in the manga): "THE SECOND WORLD: A breath stirred in the abyss. The god of the forest summoned its devils, while the sun lit the embers of war. Those of the half and full moons dreamed. Yet the ones who slew the sun deified themselves, evoking the wrath of the sea god. They would never meet again" Let's break this down: Paralleling the mural with "A breath stirred in the abyss. The god of the forest summoned its devils": - I'm wondering if "summoned its devils" refers to the creation of Devil Fruits. If Vegapunk is right that Devil Fruits are born from human desires, maybe the Forest God gave those desires physical form. Parallelling the mural with "while the sun lit the embers of war.": - To me, that's Nika reborn as Joyboy leading an army into a war. It would make sense because we see Hemet (the giant robot from Egghead) and we know, from the poneglyph in Fishman Island that Joyboy had been there and that a promise was made between him and someone on Fishman Island. (Note that in the Fishman Island arc, there's a prophecy about Luffy destroying the island). Since Poseidon is reincarnated as the Mermaid Princess in every era, I also wonder if the mermaid beneath the giant figure (who made me think of Loki because of its horns) is meant to represent Poseidon. So Joyboy basically rallied a bunch of different races in a war against a main villain. With the elders looking like demons beholden to Imu, I assumed the big bad demonic figure holding the sun was Imu. Paralleling the mural with: "Those of the half and full moons dreamed." My guess is that the "half moon" refers to the D. Clan. The shape of the letter D resembles a half moon, and the Will of D has been passed down through generations (Like how Luffy presumably carries Gol D. Roger's Will now). Paralleling the mural with "Yet the ones who slew the sun deified themselves, evoking the wrath of the sea god.": - "deified themselves", to me, just means it's the Celestial Dragons having won the war before placing themselves above the rest of mankind. - "evoking the wrath of the sea god" makes me wonder whether the Sea God's wrath is connected to why the Fishmen became so oppressed by the World Government.

Then finally: "THE THIRD WORLD: Chaos reigns; the world drifts in a void. Yet time does not erase the memory of the promised day. Its shadow looms as the voice of the half-moon echoes through the ages, and once more, the sun god rise--laughing, dancing, guiding the world to its final act. The sun is reborn. A new dawn will break. Surely, this time, they will meet" Let's break this down: - First sentence = the aftermath of the Void Century; basically how everyone is clueless now about the past. - Second sentence = history can't be erased because of the Poneglyphs keeping a record of history. - Third sentence, "as the voice of the half-moon echoes through the ages," = the Will of D - Third sentence, "and once more, the sun god rise--laughing, dancing, guiding the world to its final act" = Luffy awakening the Nika fruit and becoming the sun god once again.
