Hello all! This is the first iteration of this going forward, but I'd like to have posts where we can discuss the episode and how we felt about it.

A Few rules:

1. Be Respectful
2. NO Spoilers (Past the episode obviously)
3. I can't think of a 3rd rule, I feel the prior 2 promote a conducive exchange of ideas, theories, and complaints/praises

I really love this episode. Most of it is anime original and also they gave most of the character justice and had their moments. I'm satisfied how this ends

reanimated

Ah okay I was under the impression it was all anime original, but yeah everyone got their shine, it was dope to see for sure!

Taurus Silver

Because in the manga it felt so short for the final fight. That's why I feel so relieved that kubo really made this and go for this direction.

This was such a banger episode I'm so sad bleach anime is going be over 😭 also saw some people complain that it was Mickey Mouse to have everybody involved but like, that brother is literally god like it took that many people just to take him out 😂😂

reanimated

Lmaooo nah it was definitely needed, every character got to contribute instead of the typical “MC gets a broken plot driven power up and defeats the big bad boss”

Taurus Silver

Really?? Some people complain about it?? Don't mind them, let's enjoy this peak.

So, to clarify a few things, in the original ending, after Aizen gets taken out, Yhwach tries to consume the 3 worlds and Uryu hits him with the Silver Arrow then and we get that final shot of Ichigo cutting through him with Zangetsu. Fighting Yhwach in all 3 worlds at once and the right arm of the Soul King stuff, was not in there at all! I'm SO glad they extended the fight the way they did, giving literally everyone who's still able to fight a chance to shine, and making all their efforts matter towards that final slash by Ichigo!

HarryTVreacts

Nah legit lol, also Sherm the arrowhead was actually in the manga ash, but it played just a final role of making yhwach vulnerable in the manga vs the anime actually gave it a bit more significance to it which made it not as plot device as it did in the manga lol, I think they was just rushing tf out of Kubo when he was making the final arc 🥲🥲

Taurus Silver

yes, kubo said back then they were rushing him to finish the manga so kubo had no choice back then.

Taurus Silver

Yes, every characters and every effort matters. Peak episode!!

Ryuseishun Reacts

Yhwach felt like an actual threat in the anime compared to in the manga. The character writing for him was also massively improved. He looked down upon anyone and everyone weaker than him, only to be brought down by those same sort of "weaklings". Especially Ryunosuke who was a frightened coward to start this arc to partaking in bringing down a god figure. Poetic if you ask me.
