Sorry it's late, it was a recap so, no real need to rush to get this one out. I am currently editing Dr Stone, followed by Beastars, followed by TPN. So a lot more to come the rest of the night!

Yea the best thing about this episode was the comedy and the ending scene. Still gonna watch some reactions to it tho. Next week is when the real stuff starts.

I ain't gonna lie at this point it is annoying as hell that they gotta do an entire episode for recap stuff. Ruins the hype for the start of the series because people either know or their expectations get ruined that it is a stupid ass recap type of filler episode.

L.C.

I wonder if they will do this type of stuff for season 6 and season 7 knowing what all happens in the manga. It wouldn't make much sense to have it thrown in with everything happening without spoiling anything.

I thought only part of the episode was recap? And most of it was just training? For me the only part that was really a recap was the Endeavor scene, and I didn't mind seeing that again. The explanation of quirks is essentially an intro they do every season, so that really doesn't matter much. Listing everyone's quirks isn't actually a "recap," but flashy and dramatic shounen effects. And I didn't mind seeing everyone's hero names. I didn't even know half of them before this episode.

I know I am making a bunch of comments but they had afrodeku way too early. It ruins the right moment in the canon.

Only part that was canon was the end with hawks and endeavor and then hawks and dabi

I mean, the episode was underwhelming af, but it's the first episode of a season in MHA. Idk if something not being canon makes it recap, I don't think that's what recap means, bruh. XD

What? It’s got nothing to do with whether or not it’s canon lmao. What made it a recap was the fact that they had to explain what a quirk was again as if we haven’t known that for 5 seasons and they introduced the characters and their quirks/what they do AGAIN as if we haven’t been watching them for 5 seasons lmao. That is what makes it a recap episode. Yes this exercise was not canon and was technically new content, but going over characters and powers as if we are new to this series is the recap.

They do it every season though. And like I said, it was just fancy effects shit for their individual quirks, and I can't be the only one who somewhat appreciated seeing everyone's hero name clearly listed there. Anyway, I can agree the episode was meh, but the reaction to it was way worse lmao. Had to stop the video early I was cringing so hard at the dead horse beating XD Looking forward to next week though.

I had already set my expectations for a recap/reintroduce characters again 1st episode but coming off the Jujutsu high made this episode feel worse. Can't wait for it to pick up next week though!

Being a MHA and JJK fan, watching the Jujutsu finale yesterday and then this trash recap episode today had me tight; staring at my monitor with the stank face and all cause at least season 4 did the recap right. At least its over with and I can finally enjoy my favorite arc, the "Hori heard people running their mouths so this is the last time anyone smiles in this show" arc.

Yo my hero premiers on my bday and of course it had to be the recap smh bro

Besides this being a recap. Would love to see a reaction to Parasyte.

for people to continue to shit on mha for a REcap EPISODE ....really? i didn't know all animes have to begin with some hyper fight or someone dying or powers hype or something whats wrong with a recap or chill ep? its not even the start its ep 0. not 1 lol but i love when they do eps like this, they always do them well its not you guys just people waho always want fighting or some hyper moment sigh

What if I said it didn't have to be anything you named and in reality people just want it to pick up where the previous season left off?

harmony mcnealy

nah i get that for sure lol am just saying that a recap or a chill ep isn't bad to do i get people wanna hop right back into it which for sure i agree but shitting on the show because of a chill or a recap ep which idk even myself why they didn't start with ep 1 yk but calling it already a shitty show in general like.....

That's the problem a see with a lot of My Hero fans. If you say anything remotely negative they get real tight and they never address what you said, instead they said complaining about people saying shit that you never even said.
