Get yourself a lover who looks at you the way Taylor looks at the TV when he hears Kenjiro Tsuda speak.

Fun Fact: The VA of Fushi.... hasn't been in ANYTHING before this season (at least in terms of anime, though I looked at IMDB, AnimeList, and Wiki and there wasn't anything except two shows both airing this season) . This season he stars in TYE, and he has a couple of supporting roles in Shadows House. So, the fact he's killing it as Fushi right now is very impressive.

So, I mean, I think anybody could figure out who the hooded guy was because it's the exact same voice as the narrator, who in Ep1 sent the orb to Earth that eventually became Fushi. It might end up being a "God vs. Devil" situation. Our boi Kenjiro Tsuda voices this hooded deity, who seems to essentially represent "God" in some capacity, and then maybe the deity that sent the magic evil wood thing might represent "The Devil."

I constantly give myself this sad thought when I watch this show. It's awesome and unique how blissful fushi is. Like ignorance is bliss and youth is ignorant. Eyes wide and bright as he takes in the world. But he's immortal. He's gonna end up in downtown Tokyo eventually, apathetic, hates humanity but understands it. Scowling like he's fed up.

I think the weirdest part I took from this episode was the maker said "what's this, something is in my garden?". I'm pretty sure his garden meant earth. Whatever created Fushi seems to have created it all. I bet this is one of those god scenario where there's two sides to one coin. Or a ying yang. Like Fushi's maker is a creator god or life. And the other side is destruction god or death. Or maybe even just nothingness.

Another great episode per usual

What an episode! Looks like we're going to start discovering the why of Fushi's existense, not just Fushi's random adventures.

Sherm: "I'm not refuting that." Also Sherm: "But I am."

Are you gonna finish castlevania

Wait you guys don't like Grave of the fireflies. It's based off of the author's experiences during WW2. He was an ignorant child and felt terrible about his sister's death. War can change human behavior to an insane degree
