after you finished this anime, you guys should check out the the OVA. it goes by a different name called death billiards. that ova was a short project by up and coming animators who were funded by the Japanese government. The project culminates in a series of anime shorts produced by various animation studios each year, thus why death billiard became death parade and was a full on series.

Same time, not necessarily together. They pick pairs that have backgrounds that'll trigger each other

Hell yeah, this series doesn't get enough love!! Also you might give the Dub a try, it's actually really good

They were both at fault. She cheated and he heard and he kept being suspicious of her to the point where he got them killed in a car crash. It all started cause of her and it all ended cause of him.

2026-09-10 14:00 I thought it was implied that she lied at the end when she said she cheated? Like she saw what happened to the man she loved, how crazy he was after thinking it was all his fault, and decided to make herself out as the bad guy so he wouldn't feel like it was all his fault. Then they sent her to "Hell" because of it.

Yes and no. She DID actually cheat, but she lied about the baby not being his in order to alleviate any guilt he may have felt for being the reason his child died.
