That "it's not Zura, it's katsura" joke is one of my favorite running gags in this show. Just watch how it evolves, it's fucking hilarious

Great reaction as always for Gintama! And sorry to hear that about ur dawg Terence😓🙏🏽My family has always been dog owners for generations, so to hear that is really sad brodie! Ive been through tuff ass times with dogs as well so I understand the lost.

So historically, Sakamoto Tatsuma (Space Captain) is based off of Sakamoto Ryoma, another famous revolutionary. He advocated for democracy and re-instating the imperial family to power (against shoguns). The guy got assassinated by either the Shinsengumi or another Shogun-supporting group. He was instrumental to Katsura's rebels forming an alliance with other powerful domains.

The 'gae task force' in the beginning fit so well with ep 24 lmao

Sadly Japan tends to not be as open-minded with the image of a single parent as other countries like in the West. Even now they still believe there has to be a father AND mother to serve their respective roles in the household of "provider" and "caregiver." Not one of them can be both. The so-called proper thing to do for Saigon was either re-marry another woman, or give up his son. And he was not going to be so weak as to abandon his son or marry another person for such archaic standards. For his wife and for himself he'd serve as both a provider and caregiver to prove he's more than enough to love and raise his son.

INTERMISSON YEAH
