All of episode 25 was a parody of death note

Fun fact for future episodes : Regarding the character of Otsu, she adds random meaningless words at the end of her sentences as a part of wordplay. So, when the subtitles mention random words like Elephant's shit is too large("Zou-san no unko messa dekai" in Japanese), she made those words by starting at the ending character of the sentences("XXX Dame da zo(don't do XXX)" in this case). So she would say like "XXX dame da zou-san no unko messa dekai". Sorry if I made it confusing lol

Maybe, it definitely seemed like it. But this episode came out 2 days after death note premiered. The animators and VAs would've been working overtime on this. But it is possible if they're the same studio they knew in advance

Lmao now that I think of it, it is possible. The premier would've been advertised and they could just be parodying the manga because it was gonna be premiered that same week

Oh I just saw Ryuk as I was writing that. I'd delete all this but I need to own up to my bullshit lmao

The man took a dump on himself then goes "It's all Shinpachi's fault" and join a gang. Now we know where kazutora is inspired from

Damiester

My favourite ending song of the first year.

When I started this show, I was so close to dropping the show until this episode

Megumin’s Place 万事屋

Yo, someone else that gets it and put it into words: "Is because you know their quirkiness they are funnier" (This phrase may differ from the spoken in the video due to my lazyness to search it again)
